Your first task in the main story case Sacrificial Lamb is to enter the Manchios mansion, and when you do Jon will challenge you to dig up newspaper-worthy dirt. You must successfully complete two eavesdrops, and complete this first before talking to anyone at the party. Solutions as follows:

At the beginning of Sacrificial Lamb, Jon will challenge you to collect gossip about the rich people at the party. There are two places to eavesdrop on the guests. Both areas can be found in the secluded areas surrounding the main hall. Eavesdrop on both successfully and PRIOR to going to talk to Manchios, and you will win the challenge, and also win this achievement.

To grab it, you need to by complete Jon’s challenge ‘Yellow Press’. You MUST do this before speaking with Mancios (you can still eavesdrop after visiting the Altar Room, just don’t interact with Manchuria in the main hall)
When you enter the Mansion for the first time, Jon will ask you to look for information exposing the elite. You’ll need to eavesdrop successfully on two conversations.
The first is directly to your right as you enter the main hall - in the corner. Pick the following keywords:
Occultist architect, Magic circle and Mysterious disappearance
The second is in the opposite corner, to the left as you enter. Go through the curtained doorway there into an ante-room. The conversation is taking place behind the drapes in the back right corner. Pick the following keywords:
Political crisis, Offended duchess, Cheating groom and Fired after incident
