Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter

At the beginning of the ‘A Study in Green’ case, Holmes is practicing lawn bowls in his apartment. Apparently Holmes has been invited to play in the final round of the London Archeological Institute’s Bowling Club tournament.

Once you’ve changed into your Sportswear outfit, travel to the Club location on your map. Upon arriving, there will be a cutscene where you speak with Sir Charles. After this, cross the lawn and speak to Sir Charles again to begin the game.

The object of the game is to throw a white ball and then get your four red balls as close to the white ball as possible. You start off by throwing the white ball. Press to begin the throw and again for the strength of the throw. Take note of the strength because you will want to throw your red balls at around the same strength.

Whereas you throw the white ball straight, your red balls are required to curve. It’s best to aim the tip of the arrow towards the white ball and throw your red ball with the same strength as you threw the white ball. This will almost always guarantee that your red ball will stop rolling very close to the white ball. Take turns with Sir Charles throwing your balls and at the end of the round your score will be tallied. The person with the most balls closest to the white ball gets a score.

Repeat this for two more rounds and the person who has the highest score at the end of Round 3 is the winner and your achievement will unlock when Sir Charles congratulates you.

Note: If for any reason you think you might not win the tournament, before throwing your final ball, press to exit out and you will need to speak with Sir Charles again to restart the tournament.
