Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter

During the ‘Prey Tell’ case, after you search and leave the Hurst house, on your way to The Old Tabard Pub, you happen upon the head of the Baker Street Irregulars street gang, Wiggins. After investigating the pub, you request assistance from Wiggins to follow a suspicious character you discovered in the pub and report back to you.

Follow the man through the streets. When the yellow arrow above his head turns into an exclamation point, seek cover so he doesn’t see you (there is a meter at the top of the screen that fills up with red the longer he sees you). When he turns and continues, resume following him. At one point, you need to enter a house and crawl up the chimney. There is a mini-game in the chimney where you have to brush away the soot that’s blocking your path. Be very quick about it or Wiggins will suffocate.

When you reach the roof, use the planks to cross the gaps. While you are up there, there is a mini-game where you have to keep your balance walking across a plank by keeping the and in two circles (if you fall, you will resume just before the plank). Cross the plank and continue. Eventually you will see a hook that will lower you to the ground.

Continue following him and the man will enter a house. On the street corner you will see a boy with a shoe shining kit. Talk to him and Wiggins will ask if the boy could lend you his kit. When the mysterious man exits the house, he will walk up to you expecting a shoe shining. This is another mini-game. If/when you fail, three of the four bars at the top of the screen will fill up red, so be careful from now on.

Soon after, he stops to talk to a cabbie, so you need to take a shortcut through an alley on the left and come out ahead of the man. When you emerge back on the street, the cab is rushing past you, so keep tapping A to sprint and you will jump on the back of the cab. While the game is loading the next scene, the achievement will unlock.
