How to unlock the Picturesque achievement in Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom - Definitive Guide
You need to barter 10 unique "recipes" with traders - these includes the ones that are already named, and the ones that are ??? to start with.
You will not be able to unlock this until you've progressed in the story enough to unlock the second big area (the forest) where you meet trader #2. (It took me about 6.5 hours of playing to get this, though I wasn't being 100% efficient about it).
You will need to hunt the little creatures (you are taught this when you get to camp) and fight the big monsters to get the items needed to barter. Some items can be found in chests as well.
The first trader, near the camp, has 6 unique items, 2 of these are ??? recipes. The less common items are the broken claw (which you get from fighting the red beserker guys in the gromitz camp) and the crab claw (you get one from a chest, but the others can be gained by fighting the green crab ball things on the beach behind the crashed pirate ship).
The second trader is in the forest and has 5 unique items, 1 of these is a ??? recipe. I didn't manage to get enough to unlock the skeleton belt (haven't yet found out where to get all the bones). But you should be able to get enough barter items to barter 4 of these unique recipes.
Bleep bloop!

This will most likely be obtain as you go through the story.
When you visit Traders, they have a Barter option where they take things you have collected through battles and/or things you took from wildife and create something. They have some that are ???, I think these are the ones that count toward the achievement. Once, you make the recipe, it will show you what it is.
It also might unlock if you create anything from the Bartering system, but either way, one or the other, create 10 of these throughout your travels to unlock the achievement.

When speaking with the traders in the game, there is a "Barter" screen where you can get items in exchange for materials dropped by enemies. These are considered recipes, and getting ten items from this section from any combination of traders in the game will unlock this achievement.

In the merchant’s tab there is barter (these are recipes), you need to exchange your resources 10 times for DIFFERENT things in barter.

Barter requires materials. They are eliminated from mobs and from capturing living creatures. However, you don’t have to worry too much about the trophy, because you can often get new techniques or magic only through barter.
