Buying the most expensive Amos will get you half way to this achievement with the buying price of 50,000. Buying disciplines, equipment, and food. This will come easily.

This is cumulative (meaning there is no item worth 100k on its own that you need to buy) and will track whether you are buying items from the traders or using the "affinity stones" to respec your characters' Shi. Just spend 100k over the course of the game to unlock the achievement.

Even if you didn’t buy anything before defending Manthara, after it you will need exactly 100k to buy new techniques for the characters.
