How to unlock the Quelled Dragon achievement in Shining Resonance Refrain - Definitive Guide
When you get B.A.N.D. in Opus 2, get Yuma's MP low and turn him into a dragon with LB+RB. You'll see the dragon go berserk as soon as your mana gets low enough. You'll change character automatically, press RB and do the B.A.N.D. move. You'll pacify him and the achievement is yours.
Also, do this as soon as possible because Yuma will master his dragon form later on.
If you do not have the needed crafting materials already, a "Chicken Heart" can be rarely stolen or dropped from Thunderbirds, which naturally spawn in Sharion Coast, and later across the Windia Grasslands during windy weather, as well as in the Grimoire dungeon, "Acqua Alta, Undersea Temple."
"Thyroxine" can be stolen or dropped from Blaze Froggers, which naturally spawn across the Ulde Desert during a heatwave, as well as in the Grimoire dungeon, "Lavalode, the Scorched Ruins."
Equipping the Dragon Reverse Aspect will revert Dragonshifting from the the un-berserkable Awakened Shining Dragon form into the beserkable Restrained Shining Dragon form.
Once this Aspect is crafted and equipped to Yuma, the process to unlock this Achievement is the same as Ontyy listed. You can drain Yuma's MP quickly by repeatedly spamming Forces such as "Dragon Fight" and "Dragon Defense" during combat.
This will have to wait until you can use the B.A.N.D. feature in battle (see "Center Stage"), and then you will want to make sure you have at least one bar of the B.A.N.D. gauge filled. Transform into the Shining Dragon during battle by pressing then with Yuma and command your party members to not attack ( and then ) so they don't finish the fight. It costs MP to stay in dragon form and once your MP runs out, Yuma's dragon will lose control and you'll take over someone else. At this point, perform a song with B.A.N.D. (press ) and the dragon will calm down and unlock the achievement.
Note: Make sure you get this achievement early in the game. Sometime in Chapter 5 you will no longer go berserk when using the dragon. I read somewhere that there is an item that allows him to go berserk even after learning to control the dragon, but I have no confirmation on this so I am leaving it as missable for now.
