Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate

I will try my best to lay this out!

So the Black Bishop is a secret boss at the end of the game. To activate it, there is RNG involved (go figure). You will need two white cards, the "Red Book", and the "Theocracy" one. Red Book adds a bishop to the board/makes it so bishops can move like a queen (cannot attack you from any position however, JUST put you in check), and Theocracy ALSO adds a bishop, and gets rid of the king. It makes any bishops you have on the board gain 2 HP and it makes them the new kings! Avoid the "Throne Room" and the "Ritual Dagger" cards as well. It seems that choosing them makes it impossible for Theocracy to spawn.

There is no real sound strategy I can lay out for this as the game is so RNG based. But I can give some pointers! Focus on firepower, and getting cards such as Black Mist (will save you from death), and the Moat card (will add a barrier in the middle of the board). Play smart, and analyze every move.

Once you are on floor 12 with the giant white King, make sure to leave ONLY ONE BISHOP ALIVE BEFORE KILLING THE KING. If you do not do this, then it will just end the floor like normal! LEAVE ONE BISHOP AND ONE BISHOP ONLY. Kill all other Bishops except one. The other pieces remaining do not matter! Kill the king with ONE Bishop remaining to advance.

The actual Black Bishop fight is a real challenge. He will summon 12 pieces around himself once the round begins. He will move like the giant white King hopping around, but he can also heal pieces, and on occasion add more throughout the fight. Try your best to kill the pieces he summoned. If you focus on the Bishop himself you WILL get overrun. During this fight as well, Black Mist cards do NOT work. You get one shot!

When you dwindle the other pieces down, and you are just dealing with the Black Bishop make sure that with your killing blow, that you have ONE shot remaining in your gun. Just to be clear - you should have ZERO shots in your chamber, and TWO shots loaded in your gun. You will shoot the Bishop with one bullet, and then a cutscene will play where you will shoot the Red Book with the other bullet. Congrats! The achievement is yours!
