Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment

Please note that swinging your scythe in the air and not performing a dash slash still counts as a standing slash. One of the easiest stages to do this on is the Plains. Weak enemies and a fairly short and simple stage layout make this one ideal. I recommend waiting until you have a maxed out Darkness bar for this one, as it is in your best interest to use a curio like the Dread Talon (see Spec'd Out) for any blocks you need to destroy from the side or, as an alternative, you can wall jump off the side of them to break them as well. Just do your best to keep a mental tally of how many times you perform a standing slash during the stage. If you exceed 10, then you might as well exit the stage, return to the Tower and start over from the beginning again.
