Please note that this has to be done on a New Game and will not unlock on New Game+. When you start NG+, the game carries over a lot of statistics from your NG playthrough, including the fact that you have already completed all of the stages. "Replaying" any stage, which is what you are actually doing to play through the game again, will void the trophy/feat.

If you are thorough when playing through each stage, by the end of the game you could easily amass a total haul of 100,000 gold or more. This leaves you with a bit of wiggle room for purchasing things like curio upgrades and cloaks. However, be sure not to go overboard as it would be easy to overspend and leave yourself in a position where you can't possibly get enough gold to be holding onto at least 60,000 at the end. If you die in a stage and the gold you drop is unreachable, I recommend exiting the stage by pressing the button and returning to the Tower and starting the stage over again. Everything you collected in the stage will be lost and reset but so will the gold you dropped. It's also very easy to lose substantial amounts of gold from dying so keep that in mind.
