This boss took me so many attempts on NG+.

I used this tactic for my Hurry Up playthrough, and it works fantastically.

Yeah that method was wonderful. Black Knight round 2, Phantom Striker and the first Reize fight were definitely the most annoying parts of this. Really not a fan of that weird health/magic/time mechanic.

Chronos Coin made most bosses trivial. Judgment Rush is great for moving through some screens quickly.

Spider Scythe from the far left side of the screen wrecks the Enchantress, so thanks for that tip.

For the final Black Knight battle, avoid his attacks initially and try not to take damage. His repeating cycle is:
*slam down with spark
*collect purple balls and slam
*slam down with spark
*purple projectiles (stay under him)
*back and forth four times, after which he is at ground level and you can knock him off

After knocking him off, I'd slow time and wail away on him. He'd eventually get back on his ride with 2.5 or 3 health left and repeat the process. It took me several tries to get it figured out but when I beat him, I had over half health left when he got back on his ride with 3 health, so I simple avoided his cycle of attacks again and finished him off.
