How to unlock the Impossible! achievement in Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove - Definitive Guide

A helpful tip for doing this: Your deaths in a level are only saved after you complete the level. (So if you die, you can go back to the map, and retry the level until you beat it without dying.)

If I ever die on a wanderer battle this voids the achievement right?

To be honest, I do not know, I think I lucked out and avoided them all together.
(But if they are in your way, if you quit to main menu and reload, they should move)

Theoretically, I think it can, but it is probably easier to do it on a new game (You take less damage)

You can just exit to map right? You don't have to go all the way back to the title screen?

Seitzz, I think this is wrong. It quick saves when you go back to the map...to be safe, go all the way back to the title screen.

FYI: If you die on a bonus stage (gems and enemies on the map) or presumably a Wandering Traveller fight you’ll have to immediately exit to the dashboard to avoid the death being saved.

The correct way to obtain this achievement is to exit to the title screen upon dying. If you exit to the map, it saves the game, and your death. Die, exit to title screen, retry the level you failed on.

Missable

Warning: This trophy is void if you lose a fight against the Wandering Traveller so backup your save before fighting him and restore it if you lose.

Any recorded deaths that you have in any stage will negate this trophy. It is possible to "Die" in the Troupple Pond stage by jumping into the pond. I'm am unsure if a death here will count against the trophy or not, so it is best to play it safe and not fall in. The reason I say "recorded" deaths is because there is a way to undo a death in a stage. There is a trick that I simply refer to as the "Return to Map" trick. If you die, when you regain control of your character, "Pause" the game and select the "Return to Map" option. When you do this, it resets all progress in the level, including your Death Count. After that, just keep trying until you succeed. Thankfully you don't need to restart your entire playthrough in the event that you die. Just that particular stage from the beginning, starting from selecting it from the World Map.

Even with the "Return to Map" trick, this can become rather challenging, particularly in the later stages of the game. If this trophy is giving you trouble, then please see Again!
