It appears you might need at least one magic upgrade or the magic armor in order to get it to work without dying. The amount used to cross the whole area is more than your base Magic of 30.

This is even more easily obtained on the Flying Machine level. Just hover over one of the many fans blowing upwards, use the dust knuckle ability, and after 4 seconds the achievement will unlock. It's also worth noting that Knucklers Quary is not able to be revisited once you complete it, without starting a new game.

There is a place perfect for this in the very same room that you get the Dust Knuckles in. Just bash your way through the long line of dirt blocks just past the Blue Chest the Dust Knuckles are in.
