You can find these ships on the 2nd level waves 2-4. Kill as many as possible then before the next level 3 press the button to retry the level and go through the waves again.
Don't worry about split screener controller 2 dying keep the fight going with player 1. Its easy to do.. marauders are the purple ships with the shields and loud beam sounding gun.

Get a friend, sit down, playthrough Score Attack mode together. You won't get the achievement from destroying 100 enemies, or each of you getting more than 100 kills, but only when you destroy 100 Marauders.
