Start any Mission with a snowmobile or go to a point where you can spawn one and hold
and press and hold

for about a half second, the snowmobile should keep spawning in over and over each time to do this, adding progress towards your achievement, takes around 15-20mins to get 500.

I tried to do this, but it might have been patched. Once you respawn, you need to call it again with LB+RB.

Here's my achievement guide for a bunch of easy miscellaneous achievements, including this one.
This can be done not too far along, at the Meet the Snowmobile level.
1. Hold LB and RB to call the snowmobile, and have it carry you up the hill.
2. Let go, let the snowmobile go away, and press LB/RB again.
3. Keep rinsing and repeating, and starting the level, or continue with the game and work on it naturally.
