*Note: The gap signs at the start and finish lines of the Invitational track DO NOT count towards this achievement. The developers have stated these signs will be changed in a future update in order to avoid confusion*

As the achievement states, there are 25 gaps hidden across the map. These are indicated by a white flag with the text "GAP" written on them, and will have you jumping over, you guessed it, various gaps in order to complete them.

Upon a successful jump, these white flags will then turn to green, red or black depending on your trick score. However, ONLY black flags will progress your achievement tracker, so this is what you will be aiming for. The requirements for each color can be found below.

Color Meanings: (thanks to Viiiiiktor)
— White flag: gap has not been cleared yet
— Green flag: gap was cleared with 500-1000 points
— Red flag: gap was cleared with 1000-2500 points
— Black flag: gap was cleared with 2500 points or more

Quick tip to assist in finding these gaps, you can enter the game's drone mode by pressing

to quickly hover around and get your bearings on the reference points provided by the screenshots. You are also able to teleport directly to your drone's location by pressing

With that out of the way, let's get on with it shall we! Below I've done my best to capture all 25 gap locations and provide brief instructions on how to reach them. Any directions I offer below is assuming you're facing forward directly from the listed spawn point.

Hope these are helpful, and if you have any suggestions on improvement please let me know!

Frozen Wood - Top Park: 2 Gaps
Both gaps are visible straight in front of you as soon as you spawn into this location. Approximately 75 meters out.

Frozen Wood - Mid Peak: 2 Gaps
From the spawn point, ride straight down the path in front of you but do not follow the curve to the left, instead keep going straight and drop off the cliff. You'll find both gaps ahead, approximately 100 meters out.

Frozen Wood - Soft Peak: 2 Gaps
As you come down the hill from the spawn, you'll notice the first gap off to the right, the second is just past that one if you keep going straight. Approximately 50 meters from the first.

Mountain Pass - Pass: 3 Gaps
The first two gaps will be visible as soon as you load into this area, the left gap jumping over the road and the right gap is located beside an antennae.

Once you collect those two, follow the windy road to the left to find your last gap in this area, located at the bottom of the road.

Mountain Pass - Scary Dairy: 3 Gaps
Keep going straight from spawn and directly over the crest and you'll spot your first gap (left gap in picture), the second will be immediately afterwards on another wooden platform (center), then from there you'll want to take a slight right and your last gap will be two ramps down (right).

Petrov - Dam: 2 Gaps
Immediately behind you once you spawn in will be your first gap, you may need to call a snowmobile and ride up the hill a ways in order to get some momentum first. Your second gap in this location will be located right at the bottom of the dam after the first jump.

Petrov - Petrov: 2 Gaps
From this location, you will spawn under a highway. Take an immediate left following the road till it reaches the tunnel and you'll find your first gap on the lefthand side of the road, work your way up the hill and continue from there. You'll find the second gap right afterwards, located on a concrete platform beside some pipes.

Petrov - Park Right: 1 Gap
Follow the sets of rails down the hill in front of you and you'll come across the gap, which jumps over a bus.

Elysium - Peak: 2 Gaps
These next two are a bit further out from spawn. Once you load in you'll want to veer right and continue down the mountain, where you should notice a snow ramp about 300 meters out. Continue past this and one more snow ramp to find your first gap. To the left of this is a ravine, with another gap jumping across it. For this one you may need to use your snowmobile or teleport with your drone to access it.

Elysium - Backcountry: 1 Gap
This is another one that will be a bit of a ways from spawn. Once you load in, turn 135 degrees to your right and head approximately 300-400 meters in that direction towards a triangular rock, with two ramps in front of it. I don't believe it matters which ramp you use, as the flag is in between both, though I used the one on the left.

Corvo - Ruins: 1 Gap
Veer around to the left of the ruined building in front of you, and the next gap will be directly past that. Head up to the hill to your right to gain some momentum and take the jump.

Corvo - Village: 4 Gaps
From spawn, follow the cable car rails to your left down the hill (without going over the cliff) to find your first gap on the edge of the village (left in picture). To the right of that one, a couple houses down, is your 2nd ramp which jumps over the roof of a house (center). Then if you continue all the way down through the village and down the hill slightly, you'll come across your third gap in this area (right).

Lastly, you'll have one more gap to find that's hidden inside a cloud of snow to the left of the village, as pictured above, but it shouldn't take too long to find.

Thanks for this, I am still struggling this time its a speed thing than anything else, those motor pulleys dont do much, or I am not releasing the jump at the right moment. will keep on trying..

Anyone having issues with Corvo - Village: 4 Gaps 1st gap & Elysium - Backcountry: 1 Gap?

No matter what angle I take I cant get it to register, have tried left and right ramp for Elysium

I completed all the gaps with black flags and I'm stuck at 96%. So I assume that it can glitch.

Ahh yes im now at 96% too, sure I got them all I will double check, on my earlier comment, I have no idea what triggered them to complete, I did not get the normal GAP pop up when landed in front of you etc, but when I went to do it the black flag was there...

EDIT - I checked and had one still showing as white (Corvo - Ruins: 1 Gap) completed this and achievement popped.

Mid-Peak gap between the 2 fences. not sure where my landing point should be, is it head on, or slightly to the left. there are 2 dips in the snow?..

Edit - finally got this one,. turns out I was jumping in the completely wrong place and needed to be coming more from the left-hand side to jump off to the right.

I for the life of me cannot get two of the gaps on Corvo village to register. The first next to the cable car. Where are you suppose to land? The second gap in-between the buildings and over the roof. I’ve landed perfect tricks 100’s of time over it and on the roof and it will not register.

Chester, just did the first village gap. Have to jump down and land in front of the cable cars. Don't need a lot of speed

EDIT 2** It says in the stats section 24 but I've followed this guide and done 25 and 25 have turned black does anyone have a workaround for this? Looks like I'll have to reset my game data yeehaw.

I had alot of trouble getting some to register, especially if I did them back to back. I started respawning between them (instead of rewinding) and got them to work. Also didn't know about the drone till Billz's video below and it is so much easier to set up your line with it

I might be missing something, but doesnt the Petrov - dam location have 3 gaps? You have 2 listed, but you one the one behind you when you spawn, the on at the top of the dam and the one at the bottom of the dam? You have 2 circled in your picture, but that doesnt include the dam behind you at spawn. Just double checked with the drone and it looks like 3 to me

Also for those wondering about getting the gaps to register: on twitter the devs said that the gap turning black is about getting 2500 points. I specifically asked what the red and green flags meant, but they didnt know/didnt answer.

@ProfessorPluto Nope just two at the dam. The one behind you when you spawn is the left flag in my screenshot. If you look closely, right below the flag is my character at the spawn location

A few tips to complete your solution :

Here are the colour meanings following the Shredders website FAQ :

— White flag: gap has not been cleared yet
— Green flag: gap was cleared with 500 points or more, but less than 1.000
— Red flag: gap was cleared with 1.000 points or more, but less than 2.500
— Black flag: gap was cleared with 2.500 points or more

Also, I was having troubles to do black flags until I take a close look to the video. If you try it on the first time and your flow is completely green then more chances to get the black gap flag. If you rewind, your flow will go purple and more difficult to get. So be sure your flow is always on green and if not, hard reset your location and try again. I loose about 25 minutes in one easy flag until I check my flow, tried again having it at maximum and reach the black flag on my second attempt

I had the same issue: I forced 'Quit' the game and then 1 of the flags turned into red. I did the jump again and I unlocked the achievement.

I had difficulty with a couple gaps in the Corso Village and noticed my points were doing some weird things. So I fast traveled to another location then came back to try and got it within a few attempts. Hope this helps someone.

I also had the issue where my tracker got stuck at 96%, but all flags were black. I emailed the devs and they said they were aware of the issue of all of the gaps not registering. They have made a patch they said would be releasing in the next 2-3 weeks so the cheevo will pop after downloading the patch and playing the game. I am just worried about mine because I deleted all of the save data and the game says 0/25 gaps, but all of the flags are still black.

Gotta say there's got to be a slight point error.. You start with 500 as a base but the next tier is 1-2.49? Then 2.5 points for black. This makes no sense. Please fix.

Came directly from the developer's, most Europeans use a "." in place of a "," to signify thousands, so I'm assuming that's where the confusion lies. But Tier 1 is 500-1000, Tier 2 is 1000-2500, Tier 3 is 2500+ points. Hopefully that clears things up, I'll edit the solution accordingly

Nevermind. Found one in South Summit. Guessing updates could have borked this as there are now 28 total gaps.

I’ve done 25 gaps and only have 84% progress…

EDIT: I had to do 29 gaps to get the achievement. There are 33 gaps in the game.

Progress was stuck for me on this and the 10 Gap Achievement, too. Had to delete progress in the menu, play missions again and then redo all of the gaps (though only a few counted for the achievement again).
