Here's my achievement guide for a bunch of easy miscellaneous achievements, including this one.
This can be done not too far along, at the Meet the Snowmobile level.

1. Hold LB and RB to call the snowmobile, and have it carry you up the hill.
2. Let go, let the snowmobile go away, and press LB/RB again.
3. Keep rinsing and repeating, and starting the level, or continue with the game and work on it naturally.

To boost this achievement you can repeat the mission Meet the Snowmobile in the Frozen Wood area.

Hold both and to grab the rope and release once you get some speed. Wait a second so the snowmobile leaves, then hold and again. Keep repeating until you reach 50 times and the achievement will unlock.
