How to unlock the Master Collector achievement in SHReK the THiRD - Definitive Guide

Using the link provided by Crimson Drifter here is all the Mug locations as there was 1 error in Marx0r's guide (he lists 5 Mugs on a level that only has 4) and Marx0r doesn't list the Mug locations for the last 3 levels, E vee dub does about 8 posts later into the thread. And of course you need to find all the mugs in the game for this achievement.

All credit for the guide goes to Marx0r and E vee dub.

Royal Tutorial:
Destroy the sculpture in the middle

The Docks:
1. As Puss, above the catwalk. Jump to reach it.
2. When you enter the castle as Shrek, use the Strong Attack on the statue.
3. Inside the piano.
4. Once back outside, drop down and smash the nearby crates.
5. On your path toward the end, as you're jumping gaps.

The Pirate Ship:
1. On top of the first pile of crates.
2. Once you go through the first door and drop off the walkway, find this Mug below the walkway.
3. At the far end of the first water tunnel, inside a crate.
4. In a crate in the room with the large fish.

Ye Olde Ruins:
1. Break the Worcestershire sign at the beginning of the level.
2. In a crate, next to the parked van at the end of the first dirt path.
3. In a crate, just after you meet up with Donkey.
4. When the dirt path forks, head up the upper path then jump to the Mug.
5. Two statues down from the one where you find Jock Statue #3.

Ye Olde Road:
1. In a crate at the beginning, at the end of the stone path.
2. In a crate near the first group of Jocks. Behind the stone pillar with the "W" plaques.
3. As you are following the hay wagon, look for a path to the left. Take it to the crates above. Inside one is a Mug.
4. On the dirt path just after you encounter the second set of Jocks.
5. When you enter the school and make your way toward Shrek, check the lockers on the right side of the hall.

Academy Grounds:
1. Punch each of the knight-shaped bushes. Inside one is the Souvenir Mug.
2. As Boots break the crates near the first lever.
3. When you first enter the school building, head left, towards the camera, and start punching. While you can't see the crates, one will break, revealing this Mug.
4. In one of the lockers you'll encounter in the hall before the gym.

Prison Cell Block:
1. In the Prison Cell to the right of the one where you begin. Break everything inside to release it.
2. After falling down the hole, approach the bars to the left to find this mug.
3. In the same area as #2, break the barrel.
4. Found as you float down into the room with the switch at the bottom.
5. Before exiting the room with the broken floor, smash to stocks to the left of the door.
6. Behind the locked door.

Academy Grounds:
None this time

High High Peak:
1. Once you cross the second bridge, jump to the red coin, which leads you to the first Mug.
2. After collecting from the gold chest, move through the doorway and find the Mug to the left (at the base of the platforms).

Ice Lake:
1. Hidden in a snowman near the first group of Knights.
2. Near #1, but up in the air. Punch the nearby ice pillar, then use the resulting block to jump and collect it.
3. Near Shoe #5. Use the ice pillar/block to reach it.
4. Once you return to the lake area, follow Shrek to the right and you'll move past this last Mug.

Ice Cave:
None this level

Prison Detention Center:
1. In the first tree stump you come to when you appear outside.
2. On the above ledge in the room where you fight the Cyclops. Smash the crates on the left side to reveal.
3. Break the stocks in the room where the Prisoners continue to generate (where I suggest you complete the Finisher Quest).
4. In a barrel in the room with the broken floor.

Forest Ambush:
1. In one of the tree stumps.
2. When the second round of cannons appear, smash the one on the far right to reveal the Mug.
3. When the second round of cannons appear, smash the one in the middle to reveal the Mug.

Merlin's Hills:
1. On top of a stone pillar on the other side of the rock platforms. Use the crates to reach it.
2. In a crate in the corner near the plank.
3. Between the rolling rocks.
4. In a tree stump between the beavers' idol and the stone path.
5. Once you jump onto the ledge to reach the final Horseshoe, move left until you reach the final Mug.

Evil Queen's Castle:
1. On top of the queens headboard.
2. Outside, after the bedroom, go halfway down the platforms and down the branched path to the left.
3. At the top of the room with the rising floor switches
4. In the room to the left of the chain bridge activate the set of stairs and get to the first platform and double jump onto the wooden circle in the middle of the room.
5. The last one is at the end of the left mirror transport room. Jump on the bridge and then double jump back.

Stromboli's Workshop:
1. In the hallway to the left of the first MINI Pinocchio clone.
2. In the room with the Jack in the Box on the upper lever, under the chute that spits out the giant paint balls.
3. In the room with the teeth you have to climb. Climb the teeth, go to the left, and knock down the gift box. Push it over to the left of the room, jump up, grab a ball, and throw at the target on that wall.
4. The room with the elevator in the middle. Smash the box in the upper left corner for the mug.
5. The last one is in the hammer hall. You will see it after going through the first set of hammers.

Catacombs
1. After you pass the prisoner below you in a pipe, it's far below the next pipe.
2. After grabbing that crown, continue left pass the door, bust the crates and it's there.
3. After the 2nd door sequence, go in that room and it's down the 3rd hole.
4. After you defeat several flying bats and some knights, go through the door and it's in the crate upon walking through the door.

Rundown Streets
1. Destroy the barrels next to the key.
2. Cross the bridge and head straight for the cannon. Destroy it for the mug and hopefully it didn't knock down your pillar.

The Grande Finale
1. Drop off the front of the stage and break the barrel next to the stairs on the right.

Difficulty doesn't matter, since you can switch difficulties at anytime (once you purchase them). Once you pick up the collectible you don't have to pick it up again, it will continue to appear where you picked it up, but it will be see-thru. If you go into each level and hit pause, it should show you how many of each collectible you have.

I personally found all the collectibles on Normal, I played through the game normally and went back later to find anything I missed. As I needed money to unlock the other difficulties. The achievement will normally pop at the end of whatever level you collected the last one on when it totals up your stats at the end and saves.

Very, very late, but I'm playing the game right now, and the achievements pop mid-level for me, not at the summary screens. For the one person that reads this! lol

Collect all Souvenir Mugs in the game on each level, it does not matter which difficulty as long as you get them all. Each level has a certain amount of mugs hidden inside it, press Start to view how many you have/need.

Check out this guide for locations:

Thanks to Marx0r for the guide!

If you have a hard time with any of these collectibles, follow this guide. It is a great guide that I found on Youtube which was created by chimanruler15. Following this guide, you will get every single collectible in the entire game.

I highly suggest that you start the original playthrough on NORMAL difficulty. Get all of the collectibles and finish the game. You should get every single achievement but 2 by the end. You can also obviously while playing this and following the videos learn the levels very well. Then you can play through twice more, once with Charming difficulty and the other time the Grimm difficulty and just zoom through it as you no longer need any collectibles :)

Again, all credit for these videos I found goes to chimanruler15.

Enjoy! :)
