Thank you for this video, I'll give the solution a positive as soon as TA scans that I have the game. If you follow this video exactly, you'll get the achievement, although it is still annoying and took nearly an hour.

I struggled with this, the kills one (gibbed) and the freeze spell until I found much easier way. Build up troops inside a pen as described, keeping barracks as close together as possible. But DON'T bother releasing them. Hit them in situ inside the pen.

Saves all the faff of having them dribble over to attack and trying to get them to pool at some target which I couldn't manage.

This worked for the 8 kills, blitzkrieg and other related troop targeting achievements.

Private match, Player 2 boxes in three barracks and waits until all units spawn, Player 1 (who is getting the achievement) will set up a string of towers to draw all enemy units in one clump, aim your TNT and hope for the best!
