How to unlock the ABWÄRTS achievement in SIGNALIS - Definitive Guide

Unmissable. This unlocked for me during the cutscene after beating the first boss MYNAH inside the surgery.

The kill her, just hide behind the pillar until she has to reload. To do this, she will kneel down and open her helmet. This is the moment to hit her with everything you have. A couple of shotgun shells did it for me. If she activates some of her minions, deal with them immediately, so they don't bother you while you shoot the boss.

The achievement will unlock once

having serious problems with this game. I am playing on PC and the game stopped unlocking achievements starting at this one when I was following a guide. I have done multiple playthroughs including deleting save data and starting fresh. My only guess is that there was an Xbox Live outage while I was doing the 30-minute run. I have read that the game soft unlocks achievements and populates them later in order to "preserve the horror experience" I believe that I soft unlocked the rest of the achievements when the Xbox server went down. This not only prevented the real unlock, but the game now won't let me re-earn any achievements because it thinks I already have them. Moreover, the game stores save data server side, so any attempt to delete my local files fails as I re-sync back to the games server. I know this is one of the most niche things that can happen to an achievement hunter, but if anyone is having a similar problem or has a solution, please message me.

Sorry to hear that. Did you use quick resume, because this is known to sometimes cause trouble with achievements? Alternatively, if nothing else works, you could try to delete all your save files from cloud and console and try again. It does not take very long to reach this point in the game.

yes, there's that damn quick resume... I always screw this feature... can't it be turned off? then I'll try to close and reopen the game, even if that doesn't work I'll try to cancel the save and start from scratch, as you advised. Thank you.

Trying to get this game done before it leaves gamepass and no matter what this specific achievement refuses to unlock. I've started a new game more than three times now, uninstalled and reinstalled, and i've reset my PC and nothing works. The next achievement after this one does unlock but not this one. I am genuineley frustrated on this one.

Edit: I went through the enitre and this is the only achievement that refuses to unlock. I started YET another new game and still refused to unlock. I have no clue what to else to try anymore
