I’ll tell you this, now it’s practically impossible to get platinum in CX2 on PS3.
It is not clear what this is connected with, but character control has stopped working normally in the game; regardless of the situation, the main character can stop at any time and continue moving in small steps.
Combined with the requirements for obtaining the green spray, it is almost impossible to beat the game with this control.

Most likely your gamepad is dying, platinum is taken without problems, this part worked for me and I’m now spinning it and in all my wounds I have never encountered such problems with controls.

This problem is associated with a non-native gamepad, since for some reason the port does not work well in conjunction with other people's software. Some people find it helpful to always be connected via a cord, but it didn't work for me. I recommend finding or repairing your original gamepad, or trying to do it this way. This is much more difficult, but possible.
