One way to acquire this weapon is to beat the game at least once while earning more fighting kills over shooting kills. Once you've done that, start an Extra New Game. Conditions for obtaining: In the previous playthrough, you must kill more monsters in melee combat than with firearms. True, there is a trick here: if the enemy falls to the floor while still alive, and Heather finishes him off with a kick, then he will be considered killed in close combat, regardless of what weapon was used first. The reverse is, of course, also true.

Improvement: If you beat the game to the maximum rating (10 big stars), the laser sword will be improved - its length will double.
