The Laser Pistol can be found in on an additional playthrough if you have gotten ending #5 "No Dogs Allowed" (aka "The UFO Ending").
The Secret Achievement achievement in Silent Hill Homecoming worth 97 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement
Play through as normal until you get to your house. In Alex & Josh's room you will find it on the toy chest.
The Laser Pistol is quite powerful, it can dispatch bosses and enemies in just a few hits and has unlimited ammo. I recomend you use it when you try for The Old Gods…

Totally. Just tears bosses apart, doesn't it? I wouldn't have bothered with the multiple playthroughs without it.

Just to let people know because this happend to me. i played through and completed the game on UFO
but i didnt save at the end of the title screen..
turned my xbox off for the night and went to play through again to get the laser gun.. when i found the laser gun wasnt there i realised what had happened. lucky i had a saved game just before the end boss went back through the game and then saved.
Laser gun was now there... i thought just in case this happens to anyone else that i would put this post here

Get Ending 5 which is the ufo ending and then start a new game and the laser pistol is in his brothers room in the beggining of the game

What if i get ending 5 and playthrough again and get a different ending, will the laser pistol still be there or will it dissappear because it doesn't read Ending 5?

ahhh not entirely sure. to be safe i would do next play through and get the laser pistol
