SINNER: Sacrifice for Redemption

Early in the fight I used auto-lock (click right stick) and threw spears from a distance while dodging his attacks. Every 2-4 spears he has a chance of becoming stunned, which will allow you to roll in and slash 2-3 times and then roll away. I think he starts rolling at you when you are distant at around taking down 25-30% of his health, but I could be wrong.

To defeat him using his exploit, you need to get him to roll into the frozen pillars around the stage. Once he rolls into the pillar he will become disoriented, which will allow you to slash him with your sword 3-4 times. Then roll away and rinse and repeat for the remaining ice pillars around the stage. I'd recommend turning the auto-lock on and off as needed.

I also used the long sword when attacking him as it allows you to keep a little more distance than using the sword and shield combo...
