How to unlock the Active Skater achievement in Skate 2 - Definitive Guide
Co-operation and communication is the key to success. Playing with friends is advisable.
just ask the other people to quit once the activity has started and then your the only one that has to do it.
then re-invite the people back into the free skate
I create games and have my ghost account leave the game. Auto-bosting!
Single push, go round the corner, crouch, then gap the first set of stairs with a 360 of some sort. An Ollie 360 is enough. The important thing is to earn the necessary 600 points in this one trick.
Land in manual, and then just roll down the rest of the stairs to the end, holding the manual all the way. You should be travelling slow enough not to wipe out, and as long as you don't drop the front wheels, you'll pass the challenge.
.On challenges where you have to gap another skater try and do an ollie because flip and spin tricks are sometimes not recognised.

In Skate 2 apart from Ranked Matches you got player matches and Freeskate online
In freeskate online you can just roam by and do tricks with the environment or you can also do Freeskate Activities (you hit the back buttons and you'll see a menu with a Freeskate Activities section). There are different types and amount of activities for each location.
There are a total of 149 activities (I think there are 164 with DLC). You will need at least 2 players to participate and complete each activity. There is a bug with the achievement if you have the DLC. You need complete all the 149 and then delete the DLC, complete another activity in freeskate online and Voila! achievement unlocked.
When choosing a location you can see how many activities you have completed in the bottom of the screen or when choosing it in the lobby the ones with a lightning on the side are the ones you've completed.
Types of activities:
*Gap Challenge: These challenges consist in getting to one point to another. Jumping from grind to grind, jumping over another player at a specific location.
TIP: jumping over another player is better in groups of four because of the odds. If you can't find more players then just with one are good.
*Group Accumulation:These are mainly doing tricks to get a goal. These are tricky since they can be doing tricks, bailing out (meat challenges), only air tricks, grind tricks, among others.
TIPS:
1-Doing it with a big amount of players will increase the target point to reach but it will be the same given time. DO IT with only 2 players.
2-Try to keep you x3 multiplier and do not repeat the same tricks all the time, this will lower the amount of points you'll receive each time you land it.
*Group Trick List: It's literally a checklist (usually about 12 or 15 tricks to complete) that all players in the activity need to complete them in the time given. An example of one them is: Handplant the lifeguard's chair.
TIP: I recommend at least one player with good skills in the game since they are tricky ones like the one that I mentioned.
*Simultaneous Trick: Just one trick per activity but has to be done almost at the same time; you only got at most 4 seconds extra if one did not make it. If it is not done SIMULTANEOUSLY it will NOT count.
TIPS:
1-I recommend doing these type of challenges with only two player in the activity. It will require less communication and synchronization.
2-If only one of you needs the activity and the one who do not need it can quit and when the other player completes it, it will still count. Easy way out :)
*Group Survival:Here you'll be given a time goal or an amount of points to reach. Bailing out (falling of the skateboard) or riding slow will reset the current score to 0.
TIP: Doing it with 2 players make it a LOT easier.
*Tag the Spots: These ones usually require you to pass by the arrow doing a manual or a trick. Most of it are just manuals of nose manuals (your choice). They will vary a little bit. Some will require you to pass by all the arrows in one run and others will be collective.

Very Hard, start a career and create your skater. After finishing the tutorial you should be able to safely exit to the main menu, from here select "freeskate" and choose your created skater. Wait for somebody to propose an activity or do so yourself by pressing back, then selecting "Freeskate Challenge". Complete each one in order for the achievement to unlock. There are 149 in total.
When you choose a location to host/join a freeskate, at the bottom you should see a checklist of activities completed in the area. Gap and Survival Challenges are much easier with a small number of people. Accumulation, Tagging and Objective Challenges are much easier with a large number of people.
