How to unlock the How you like them apples? achievement in Skate 2 - Definitive Guide
In order to obtain this achievement I first recommend playing through the game, during which time you will receive challenges from 20 pros. The majority of these challenges are easy to moderate, but a few are difficult and really frustrating. But don't worry: that's what guides are for.
Also, you can check on the status of these challenges by pressing the Start button and clicking on the Challenge Map. From there make sure the X button toward the bottom left of the screen reads "Completed Challenges." Though it seems counterintuitive, this indicates that the screen you are currently on contains all the challenges for the game you haven't yet beat. For our purposes select Career and then Pro. The total number of pro challenges is 20.
The Pro challenges are as follows:
1) Dennis Busenitiz - Busenitz Blitz: Stay within 150 ft.
2) John Rattray - The Spice of Life: Do 4 different fliptricks up the stairs.
3) Darren Navarrette - Vert with the Vampire: Tweak a handplant, do a one-foot grab, and air up to the windows.
4) Jake Brown - Get Blind with Jake: 540 over the gap and get halfway up the vert stick.
5) Darren Navarrette - Creature Style: Stay within 150 ft.
6) Chris Cole - Over the Rainbow: do 3 grinds over the Rainbow Rail
7) Mark Appleyard - Applebutters, eh?: Stay within 90 ft.
8) Marc Johnson - Stressing with the SOTY: Grind the Building Ledge, Grind the High Ledge
9) Chris Haslam - Shave Your Tongue: Hippy-jump the Barrier, Finger-flip over the Stairs, and Late-Flip off the Wall
10) Terry Kennedy - Hit and Bounce: Grind the 3 Epic Rails
11) Lucas Puig - Lucas's Translation: Tailslide, gap, Noseslide, or vice versa.
12) Rob Dyrdek - The Street's Are Calling: Fliptrick into a Ledge Grind, Nollie to Table Grind, and 360 Flip over the Hubba.
13) John Cardiel - BLAOW!!: Transfer from Hip to Hip and do a 24. ft grind on the coping.
14) Ray Barbee - Creativity Rules!: No comply over the bike racks, revert and a Pop-Shuvit, and footplant the dumpster.
15) Mike Carroll and Eric Koston - Can You Spell Girl?: Win a game of S.K.A.T.E. against Carroll and Koston.
16) Jason Dill - Alien Manual Shop: Manual-to-manual hop and manual-to-manual gap.
17) Brandon Szafranski - BS Roll: Stay within 150 ft.
18) Danny Way - Duffy's Rail Termination: Do 3 different grinds.
19) PJ Ladd - PJ's Stair Session: Land 3 different fliptricks.
20) Danny Way - Jam with Danny Way: Finish the race first and have the highest trick score.
Like I said, most of these are easy to moderate in difficulty. They will require a little practice and familiarity with how to do certain tricks, but you should be able to complete them in a few attempts. There are a few challenges, however, that bear some further explanation:
Lucas's Translation: Effectively pulling off a tailslide, making the gap, and then landing in a noseslide is difficult, to say the least. Here's how I did it: First, now that you should be aiming for the inside part of the ledge, as it will make hopping to the next ledge across the gap much easier. Second, when you ollie turn your body 90 degrees. It will take some practice getting the angle just right but eventually you'll be able to land in tailslide. Third, once you can do this you need only ollie across the gap. If done correctly you will ollie, still at 90 degrees, onto the opposite ledge across the gap in a noseslide. I do not recommend trying to shift into the right grind, as this will likely cause you to mess up.
The Streets Are Calling - This was the most frustrating challenge in the game for me, as you have to perform the line in sequence, you are timed, and the 360 Flip is difficult to pull off under pressure. Most of the time I overshoot the thumbstick motion and did a 360 Pop-Shuvit. Here's how I did it: First, if your stance is regular I recommend starting switch. I found the motion required for the 360 Flip easier to pull off this way (the required motion of the thumbstick changes for tricks based on stance) but this is totally up to you. Anyway, I did a simple Pop-Shuvit onto the ledge into a grind, landing still in switch. Second, pump once and nollie onto the left side of the table. Third, pump once more and hope for the best with your 360 Flip over the hubba. It should be noted that I practiced and practiced and practiced the 360 Flip until I could do it with some consistency. It was more difficult under pressure, but you'll get this sooner or later. Also, you will have time after your nollie on the table to regroup, retreat, and then line up your approach toward the hubba. This is up to you, of course.
BLAOW!! - This challenge can seem daunting but you can use a little glitch in the game to help. You don't actually have to gap all the way across. You can gain enough speed to ollie from one side of the pool to the other bank. With some practice you'll see what I mean. There are also youtube videos (not my own) that show this process. The 24 ft grind is the easier part and shouldn't be a problem.
Can You Spell Girl? - This one also seems really challenging until you know that there is a cheat you can use. This video is not my property. It was posted by Cannedpasta and the cheat itself was discovered by BIGBEN4X4.
Good luck!

To get their phones you need to complete special "Pro Challenges". Please note that the Alphabet Yard bonus is also required to obtain this trophy. If you have a problem with the task “Can you spell girl?”, refer to this video hint .

I struggled with the task “Can you spell girl” for a very long time. In desperation, I tried to cheat as the video hint shows, however, after an unfair victory, the task restarted. I thought it might be a patch updating the game. I suffered for a long time, but in the end I lost it in a fair fight, but the task was restarted again. I had to fight again, but I realized what the catch was:
Be careful! After winning the task "Can you spell girl" , you need to click - quit, not - retry when the results card appears.
My problem was that I was pounding out of habit, to advance in the menus and, accordingly, I restarted .
