Just press y to get off your board. You will do this to get up some stairs in the tutorial part.

This is the easiest achievement in the game. Just press Y and the achievement will pop.

Whilst riding, press cn_T to get off your board, do this in career mode for the trophy.

You will be asked to do this in the tutorial when attempting to climb a flight of stairs. Press when asked.
