How to unlock the Spare Parts achievement in Skate 2 - Definitive Guide
General tips:
They've added an auto-bail to this game to allow you to bail at any point you want by holding down RT+LT and pushing both analog sticks at the same time.
When bailing, move the analog stick in the four primary directions to do tweaks:
Up- Cannonball
Down- Spread Eagle
Left- Torpedo
Right- Judo Kick
Hand Gestures are done with the D-pad and can be done at any time.
Practice makes perfect. If you can't get an objective in one spot, try a different one.
An "object" counts as any object that you can move around with the RB button and will give 1,000 pts for hitting it.
Completing Danny Way's path early will give you access to a lot of good high elevation spawn points for a good leg up on massive damage.
Getting 10/15 on each path will unlock a spawn point for you.
Points: Hideki Tower
Body Damage: Lindley Tower
Style: Big Spill
Grab Bag: Boneyard Rooftop
Getting on the cover of the Thrasher magazine will drain the Dam so you can get another far drop from there as well.
For breaking bones and scoring points, find the highest point you can to dive off of and try and get spins and several tweaks in for extra points. Try and do a spread eagle before you land so your entire body splats down at once to break as many bones as possible for more points.
Whenever you need to break a specific body part, use the torpedo or spread eagle tweaks and rotate your body so that body part hits first.
You'll get almost all of the Style path by using the Top of the E warp that you get from Danny Way. Set a session marker on top, then drop down and do the jump through the tower like you do in the mission, except do an auto-bail once you jump and provided you don't hit the tower or anything else, you should have enough time to get plenty of tweaks/rotations.
For objects, unlock Hideki Tower through the Points path and pile some objects near the stairs at the bottom, and dive off almost going straight off the tower from the spawn point to try and land on the objects. Adjust your jump and the objects as necessary to get the required numbers.
Almost all of the Grab Bag path can be acquired by warping to the Winged Bench Spot (and make sure to quit the challenge) and then skating up the winding path. Turn around and set a session marker. Three pushes and holding a grab on the way down will allow you to get massive speed, and there's usually a decent number of cars and pedestrians in the area. The Big Spill spawn also helps with most of the MPH/rotation objectives. Also, diving off of a high spot and waiting to auto-bail will increase your speed to max and you can bail later.
Specific tips:
The 60.0 foot drop onto a pedestrian specifically will require a lot of luck. I got this one by warping to the Boneyard Rooftop, turning around 180 degrees and setting a session marker. I skated off the leg into the big open area below and usually could find one or two pedestrians walking around in the area and within reach. Quickly jump back to your session marker and jump again, tweaking between cannonball and spread eagle to adjust your distance to try and land on the person.
For Bail for 20.0 s, I used the Big Spill warp. Skate forward very slowly and bail right before your roll of the edge. You should have enough momentum that your body continues to fall. Try and hold the spread eagle tweak to slow yourself even more, but move quickly to the cannonball and back if you feel yourself coming to a complete stop to give yourself more push.
For the 31,000 Bonus pts, either pile objects at the bottom of the jump from Hideki Tower and try and hit as many tweaks, rotations, and objects, or use the Top of the E jump and go for tweaks and rotations as well. Length of airtime, height of drop, and total bail time will also give you points so try and extend those out as much as you can.

You didn't mention how you got the 10 second bail. Getting that one was especially hard since you need to get that in order to get the big spill spawn point. I eventually tried several places to get it and I think I eventually got it at Cougar bridge using the bail glitch.
I'll try to find a youtube video describing how to do it and post it as a guide.
(I take no credit for this guide whatsoever).
http://wikicheats.gametrailers.com/Skate_2_-_PS3_XB360/Hall_...
A couple I got a little stuck on like 4.10. Specificaly groin breaking. I found that using the same place in the guide but on the left side drag the two tables and judo into them (making your leg hit the table first) was the easiest for me.
Points
1. 5000 pts at GED High
Think I may have got this by accident it was that easy. If you're struggling I think bailing on the Alphabet OTS will get this.
2. 10,000 pts at Upper Stacks
If you teleport to the stacks and fly through the hoops ahead of you, that should do it. If not just hit a car or something.
3. 15,000 pts at Sunset Heights
From the teleport, go through Haslam's line in front of you, and ride the wall across towards The Wall OTS. Once you get over the gap to the other side, bail & faceplant.
4. 17,500 pts at Mini Mega
Took me a few tries, just land hard. If that's no good, block the road off with the dumpster and hit cars.
5. 20,000 pts at Dueling Snakes
Launch off from the starting point of the Danny Way challenge Going Down?, and just eat floor.
6. 22,500 pts at Lighthouse Park
As detailed earlier in the thread, from the teleport spawn, turn around, climb the stairs, and throw yourself down them.
7. 25,000 pts at Boneyard
I used Danny Way's Bone Drop spawn for this, from the roof of the building to faceplanting the pipe below.
8. 30,000 pts at Mega Compound
This shouldn't be a massive challenge, I picked it up on the drop-in for the first mega-ramp. Rotation & style points to get you over the top.
9. 35,000 pts at Cougar Bridge
Racing downhill from above the bridge, hit the kicker on the left hand side to launch you over the spillway, 35k should be an easy task.
10. 40,000 pts at The Dam
11. 45,000 pts Anywhere
12. 46,000 pts Anywhere
13. 47,000 pts Anywhere
14. 50,000 pts Anywhere
15. 55,000 pts Anywhere
These last 5 might as well read "xx,000 at The Dam", just do them there. Landing flat & spreadeagled seems to do the most body damage. It can help to throw some things into the dam, I use that for a lot of the Grab Bags later.
Body Damage - So many of these are luck based they can be frustrating, just keep trying
1. 5,000 pts of Body Damage
Fairly simple, just get hurt.
2. Break Both Hands
You can use gestures to help here, the Fonz-like Ayyyyyy gesture combined with a faceplant usually results in broken hands. Otherwise flail around, you'll pick it up as you get other stuff.
3. Break Both Forearms
As with hands, use gestures or try to land on them.
4. Break Both Legs
Much easier, either land spreadeagled vertically or in a judo kick, preferably on something or in The Dam.
5. Break 12 Bones
The Dam, 'nuff said.
6. Break Your Shoulder to Your Fingertips
Either cannonball and roll half-over or do the same with a spreadeagle, land on your arm.
7. Break Both Feet and 10 Toes
I picked this one up landing in the Dam in a standing spreadeagle.
8. Break all Ribs and Crack Your Skull
The Dam again, flat on your back in a spreadeagle.
9. 20,000 pts of Body Damage
Wreck yourself at any of the big spots, Top of the E is a good one.
10. Break Your Groin
Go to The Dam, take the picnic tables from the picnic area to the left and throw them in. Arrange them so you'll land on them if you push off from wherever you want (I was using the Murderhorn). Either land in a judo or a spreadeagle, and catch one of your legs on the edge of a table. I had no luck while I was trying to hit my skater in the groin, once I tried to break his hip I got it straight away.
11. Shatter All Your Teeth
Faceplant in The Dam, got this first time.
12. Break Your Head to Your Hips
Flat on my back, in The Dam.
13. Break Your Hips to Your 10 Toes
Same again but legs slightly first.
14. Break 19 Bones
Just keep trying, this one takes some luck.
15. 24,000 pts of Body damage
As above, landing on things helps, as does spreading the impact out as much as possible. Smashing at Top of the E or any of the tower unlocks does good body damage.
Style
1. Do a Cannonball and a Spread Eagle
Any large drop, right stick up, right stick down. Too easy.
2. 40.0Km/h and a Hand Gesture
Can do this anywhere you want almost, combine it with one of the others for efficiency. Important to note that if you do any of the "xx Km/h" challenges in the main drop of The Dam, if you wait a second or two before bailing you'll hit approx 50-60km/h.
3. 2.5s of Air Time
The Dam, or anywhere high.
4. 2,500 Rotation pts
Easy again, high point of your choice.
5. 10.5m Drop and 3 Body Tweaks
I did this one at Cougar Bridge just because I was there, The Dam obviously will work too.
6. 5.5s of Bail Time
5.5s is pretty achievable from a normal bail but if you're struggling, see the advice earlier in the thread about the hip after the No Need For Speed OTS. If you need to you can slow down your rolling down the hill by using the cannonball/spreadeagle tweaks to control your speed.
7. 3.0s of Air Time and 3,000 Rotation Points
The Dam, any of the big stadium megas, same old.
8. 64.0Km/h and 5,000 Rotation Points
Top of the E did this for me, launch off the first jump through the tower and bail, easy enough.
9. 5 Body Tweaks and 2 Hand Gestures
From the Murderhorn, spam the gestures while you're tweaking.
10. Do 2 Body Tweaks and Bail for 10.0s
Covered earlier in the thread but just to explain my way of doing it: Teleport to No Need For Speed, quit challenge and turn around. Head up into the pipe for as long as you feel like and set a marker. Shoot down the hill and hit the hip transfer as high up as you can, so you can bail and get the 2 tweaks in before the slide down the other side. Use spreadeagles and cannonballs to control your speed, it might take some practice but you'll need it for 20.0s.
11. 15,000 Rotation pts
I got this at the same spot as the 10.0s bail, as you're rolling slowly down the hill you should get 15k rotation fairly easily.
12. Bail for 20.0s
For this one I used the same hip, but from the Big Spill spawn point. Move off as slowly as possible, if you can bail before the edge and take a second or two to fall off, even better. Stay sideways on to the slope (if you're grinding your face down the hill, you're doing it wrong), and use spreadeagles to try and slow yourself down for long enough. Took me a few tries.
13. 64.0Km/h and 3.5 s of Air Time
Got this one through the tower at Top of the E, you might need to get a lucky bounce in the tower to stay airborne for a little longer
14. 64.0Km/h and All 4 Body Tweaks
Through the Top of the E tower again, I remember I definitely did get a lucky bounce inside on this one, but it could be doable anyway.
15. 31,000 Bonus Points
Actually picked this up by accident falling off the Top of the E. If you're struggling just hit something fast and far below you with rotation.
Grab Bag
1. Hit a Pedestrian
Easy, picked this up by accident
2. Cannonball into a Car
Again, easy
3. 40.0Km/h and Hit 2 Objects
I used my picnic tables in The Dam for this; dropped in and piled into them.
4. Break a Leg on an Object
Picnic tables in The Dam, land on your feet like the Break your leg/foot/etc challenges.
5. 40.0Km/h Torpedo into a Pedestrian
Important note about these ones: you don't have to be in the pose when you hit the ped. I was skitching around and hit a ped so pulled torpedo in the air and got the pass.
6. 56.0Km/h and Judo Kick a Car
Skitch behind a car until you see an oncomer you want to kick. Then kick it.
7. 1,000 Rotation pts and Hit 3 Objects
For me this was picnic tables in The Dam again, although there's probably easier ways. By this time I had a rail, a ramp and a handful of cones from up the road in there as well, so 3 objects wasn't too difficult.
8. 56.0Km/h and Judo Kick a Pedestrian
This was tough, skitch around The Res until you can pull it off, or take a look at my 64Km/h strat below and just judo them.
9. Cannonball into 2 Cars
From the Mini-Mega Redux, block the road off so you can get to plenty of cars, then cannonball into one on the far side, or inbetween two so you get them both. If your board hits one (and you don't) it counts as a hit. I picked this one up hitting the far side of the street and my board hit something else.
10. Break Your Groin on an Object and 1 Hand Gesture
Picnic tables, Dam, now with flair.
11. 25m Spread eagle drop onto an object
Picnic tables, Dam, spreadeagle
12. 1500 rotation pts and a 25m drop onto 2 objects
Picnic tables, yada yada.
13. 64.0 Km/h and Hit a Pedestrian
This was the hardest of the lot for me, but I found a reasonably consistent way of getting attempts as opposed to skitching. Take the Cougar Mountain spawn, cross the street to the start of the shortcut and drop a marker. You need to burn down here, around the right of the first dumpsters, then the left of the kicker, then either through the pipe or around it, but keep as much speed as you possibly can. Shoot down the road to The Dam entrance, and you can either duck the barrier and try to hit someone, or just pile into the barrier and try to get someone as you're flying around (it still counts if you hit the ped second)
14. 20.0m Drop onto a Pedestrian
From the Bone Drop spawn, turn around and throw yourself into the alley until you hit someone, might take a few tries
15. Hit 3 Cars or 2 Pedestrians
I had trouble with this because no matter what I tried, ninja peds would dodge. Eventually smacked a pile of them with a (very satisfying) spinning judo kick from the Mini-Mega.
Thanks to Dookie32 at IGN's Forums for this. Hope it helps others.
This is one of the most amusing and fun achievements in the game but it does require a few hours to complete as some of the challenges take a while to register. Before you start learning the basic controls is a must, to force a bail click in both thumb sticks.
Cannon Ball – Push up
Spread Eagle – Push down
Judo – Push right
Torpedo – Push left
Points
Most of these activities are easy enough to complete in their locations without too much hassle. For most of them finding either a high location or and area where you can gain speed for your bail will be enough to net you the points. Once you progress though these activities you will open two skyscrapers that you can bail from.
1. 5000 pts at GED High (Location)
2. 10,000 pts at Upper Stacks (Location)
3. 15,000 pts at Sunset Heights (Location)
4. 17,500 pts at Mini Mega (Spot)
5. 20,000 pts at Dueling Snakes (Skatepark)
6. 22,500 pts at Lighthouse Park (Skatepark)
7. 25,000 pts at Boneyard (Skatepark)
8. 30,000 pts at Mega Compound (Skatepark)
9. 35,000 pts at Cougar Bridge (Location)
10. 40,000 pts at The Dam (Location)
11. 45,000 pts anywhere
12. 46,000 pts anywhere
13. 47,000 pts anywhere
14. 50,000 pts anywhere
15. 55,000 pts anywhere
For 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 you can either do these from the Tower or the Dam. It takes some time but if you tweak your bail enough you should be able to rack up around 5,000 points just in tweaks before you hit the ground. Just remember the longer you bail the more points you gain so smashing hard and stopping doesn’t always net you the most points.
Body Damage
These are probably the easiest of the HOM challenges as all you need to do is cause damage to yourself from a high location. I recommend the Skyscrapers to do these fast though by the time you have done the first set of challenges you will have probably covered most of these already.
1. 5,000 pts of Body Damage
2. Break Both Hands
3. Break Both Forearms
4. Break Both Legs
5. Break 12 Bones
6. Break Your Shoulder to Your Fingertips
7. Break Both Feet and 10 Toes
8. Break all Ribs and Crack Your Skull
9. 20,000 pts of Body Damage
10. Break Your Groin
11. Shatter All Your Teeth
12. Break Your Head to Your Hips
13. Break Your Hips to Your 10 Toes
14. Break 19 Bones
15. 24,000 pts of Body damage
Style
Most of these can be done while jumping off the Dam. Once you progress though these you will need to use the location no need for speed or the big spill if you unlocked the spawn point from completing style lv.10. You can use this location to do challenges 10 – 15. Once you bail onto the top of the giant hip you can slowly roll down and gain up to 30 seconds of bail time and plenty of rotation to complete these challenges.
By this point you should have unlocked the Tower if you haven’t already, 15 will require you to bail off the Tower and tweak your body like never before.

Grab Bag
These start out rather easy but get quite complicated and can be quite frustrating later on. There are so many ways to do these so the linked thread above will be the best place to look for advice on these.
The only one to really watch out for is number 10, this challenge seems to be a little glitchy. I managed this by dropping spread eagle into a picnic table at the bottom of the Dam. Even though I fell with great speed and height it still took 50+ attempted to do, good luck with this one.

4. breaking a leg on any object can be done at the dam, throw the table down and jump on it
5. accelerate to 40 km/h and fly a torpedo into a pedestrian, you need to find a bigger slope, accelerate from it in front of the pedestrian, jump off the board and fly like a torpedo, you need to press the right stick to the right
6. 56.0 km/h performed a judo blow to a car on a spot called mine mega ramp, you need to put some kind of barrier on the road so that the cars get stuck in a traffic jam and jump on them from a mini mega ramp, the judo kick is done with the right stick, you need to move it to the left like
7. spin 1000 and shoot down 3 objects, it’s better to do it at the red bridge, it’s next to the dam, you need to put 3 any objects at the edge of the bridge, hit them and spin in the air
8. accelerate to 56 km/h and judo strike a pedestrian, I think it’s a very difficult task https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dH-uDURe7Gw I also performed a place called tower towel
9. curl up and hit 2 cars again on the mini mega ramp and curl up you have to hit two cars
10. break the groin on an object and make a movement with your hands, perform it near the dam, throw the table down, make a movement with your hands and fall with your groin on the table
11. falling from 25 meters onto an object, after completing the previous task, it seems like a new revenge has opened up, it’s called the roof boneyard, you move there, jump down, drag the garbage container to the place where you will fall again, return to the roof and try to fall on this garbage can, the main thing is to fly like a parachutist
12. The task is again on this roof, it’s warm next to the trash can, place another object, jump from the roof, spin 1500 and must get onto the trash can and hit the second object
13. I did hit a pedestrian at 64 km/h here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dH-uDURe7Gw revenge is called something like tower towel
14. We go again to the roof boneyard and try to get to the pedestrian from there
15. hit 3 cars or 2 pedestrians, I hit 3 cars, found a slope at the bottom, put some kind of mailbox so that a traffic jam would form and tried to hit 3 cars
and so the hall of mit is divided into 3 branches
the first one is quite simple: collect a certain number of points in a certain place (for example 2500pts at...) the place is easy to find on the map in locations
the second is based on catching all kinds of bones... there will be a task in this thread: broken glitch... the easiest way to do it is by performing a judo kick when falling, and landing with that foot on the ground or on an object that is straightened...
and at the end 3... here you have to fit in with people, cars, objects, etc. I’ll give you a hint on how it’s easier to complete the task with cars... so on the map we find mini mega redux or just mini mega, there are postal stations near the road and trash cans, here we use them - we roughly estimate where we land when we fall and place these boxes on the road, thereby forcing the cars to stop... as for items, after 10-13 completed tasks from the first branch, you will open a rep point on the roof of a skyscraper , near the coast...and right below it there are tables, chairs, benches, etc. we take everything and put it where we approximately land... as for tasks with people, the advice here is to go to the point where the races took place (in the mountains) there are small areas where there are a lot of people)
And I’ll also tell you a little trick with scoring points:
take the skate in your hands (triangle) then press Thus, the player throws out the skate, then we jump (square) when we are in the air, hold down and press triangle... this combination will make your skater fly into the air to a decent height and sometimes just swing him in place, in general it’s a useful thing))) I used it myself during the passage
