Ankohonana can be found to the West of Sainte-Anne. It is in a thin path that leads through a main plot of land. Interact with it or press the right stick in to spyglass it to get this achievement. The video below shows its location on the map

Ankohonana lies west of Sainte-Anne, where you start out your adventure. Head west and you will encounter a large land mass, called the Angaya Coast. There is a cluster of lands here worthy of your exploration, and there is also a narrow inlet, which leads you snaking through the landscape on a river, toward Ankohonana.
Follow the river round, and you will encounter a number of settlements, shipwrecks, all sorts. Right in the middle of the landscape is Ankohonana, which is classed as a capital settlement. Whip out your spyglass (
) and train it on Ankohonana, and this achievement will unlock.
