How to unlock the Metal Collector achievement in Skull and Bones - Definitive Guide

As you explore the world, you will come across all sorts of natural resources that you can harvest. (Check out our guide on how to harvest Acacia trees, for a good start on this.) You will come across metals, such as iron, zinc, and steel all over the map.
As a quick point of reference, when you’re starting out at Sainte-Anne, you are in the Red Isle region. Sail immediately west and you will find Bog Iron on the coast of The Giant’s Leap. When you are near the metal, an indicator will flash up, reading, “
Harvest Bog Iron.” The mini-game here is very similar to the one for cutting trees; it’s a matter of pressing 
as the needle hits the green zone.
Keep going further west, and you will enter the Coast of Africa region. Here, you will find Cobalt in the Ziwa Kubwa zone, if you follow the river inland. Plus, you will also find Nickel to the north, if you sail inland from Pembe.
Finally, if you sail east, you will – funnily enough – reach the East Indies. Here you will find Zinc on many of the coasts of almost all of the islands. Once you harvest these three metals, or any other metals you have come across, in three separate regions, this achievement will unlock.
