How to unlock the Bleeding Heart of Scarlett achievement in Sky Force Reloaded - Definitive Guide
Surprising to say, but this achievement description is...CORRECT!!!
You will need to beat the Insane difficulty completely on Stage 11 to unlock this achievement. This means you will need to have all 12 medals (4 from Normal, 4 from Hard, and 4 from Insane). You don't need to get all the medals in single runs of the stage. You can do a run just to get 100% kill and then come back for a separate run to get All Civilians or Not Being Hit.
For this level, the build up to Scarlett isn't actually too difficult to get down. The rail guns are a little annoying, but the enemies don't have much of an opportunity to build up on screen (especially with a fully upgraded ship).
The difficulty here is Scarlett and her tank. Not getting hit at all is rough. Here are some tips:
- For Phase 1 with the lasers and cannons, I'd suggest sticking to the sides. Using the Octopus ship and charged missiles, you can deal great damage while only needing to dodge the bullets. If you want, you can hit the lasers while they pause, but I've gotten greedy and took an accidental hit too many times.
- Phase 2. This is the really hard part of the battle. The initial mini cannons can go down quickly, but you really need to boogy here. I'd suggest dropping a mega bomb/laser to knock those out quicker. Leaving them only makes life a lot harder. The giant laser turret is your real enemy here though. You will get down a good rhythm eventually, but you'll just need to sweep back and forth without ever stopping. On Insane, there is really no moment to stop. I eventually got a good rhythm with the mini rail guns and lasers, but it can take some time to get used to.
- Phase 3 - Take it slow. I know you'll be tempted to hit the center turret quickly, but the more damage it takes causes the other turrets/rocket launchers to activate. Deal enough damage at a time to activate only the next turret. At that point, destroy the new turret. Rinse and repeat until the rockets activate. At that point, I'd burn through my shields and other powers up to finish the fight. That was the quickest/best method I found for myself.
The end of the fight is just a missile dodge. No changes between the difficulties. I tended to stay away from the center overlap point and dodge based on that.
