How to unlock the Burial at Sea achievement in Sky Force Reloaded - Definitive Guide
NOTE: Descriptions in this game are not accurate on both the site and Xbox Achievement tracker.
This achievement unlocks for the following conditions:
- Complete Level 09 on Insane
- Have all 4 medals for the Insane difficulty
To unlock Insane mode, you need to complete the level on both Normal and Hard with 4 medals. When going for the medals, keep in mind that you don't need to get all 4 in the same run. You only need to get all 4 eventually. The medals you need are:
- Kill 100% of the enemies (also contains kill 70%)
- Rescue 100% civilians
- Don't get hit
Some of these conditions will cause you to play in contradictory manners. For example, killing all enemies might make rescuing all civilians more difficult. Therefore, only worry about getting one medal set at a time. You can take 3 different runs to get those medals and still be okay for the achievement or unlocking the higher difficulty.
For level 9, you will mostly be at sea. This level can be quite annoying to hit some of the objectives. Some tips:
- Have most of your weapons (main cannon, side cannon, and missiles) fully upgraded.
- The boss isn't too difficult. You can take up a defensive position that will mostly put you out of the range of the mines while also allowing you to shoot the flamethrowers and work your way in. If you're just next to the flames and not taking damage there, you can hit the flamethrower (using the classic). Then just continue to work towards the opposite end by edging next to the current blaster. For the rail gun at the end, I recommend having a shield available. Do as much damage as you can during the first barrage and then activate it during the second barrage. This will allow you to run through the mines and go for the kill as safely as possible.
- While at sea, most of the kills aren't too bad. The large flying planes that shoot the barrage of 3 shots can be a little annoying at times, but if you sweep from left to right and back, you can hit them pretty consistently. Save a mega bomb or laser just in case.
-When you reach the main battleship towards the end of the level, after taking out the 2 or 3 rail guns to start, aim for the missile launcher on your left side first. This works better as soon after killing it and beginning to work on the right one, some mini planes will start coming at you. It makes it a lot more consistent to work in this order.
