How to unlock the INZANE!!! achievement in Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer - Definitive Guide
This achievement will unlock once you complete the game on the "INZANE" difficulty
This difficulty mode reduces the number of healable items to its bare minimum and boosts enemy health, and damage output.
Map knowledge isn't very essential, and if you are feeling confident, I would highly recommend starting your first playthrough on INZANE if you are familiar with these types of shooters (The main problem with this difficulty is the heals and the main boss, however, scum saving shall make this far easier) -IF YOU FIND YOURSELF GETTING SORE THUMBS, CHANGING SPRINT TO 'TOGGLE' IN THE SETTINGS MAY HELP
The "Warewolf" enemies with the rockets will most likely be the trickiest enemy in the game, due to their splash damage. 1 to 2 bursts from your own "Helix Launcher" will quickly dispatch this enemy type, alternative methods of eliminating this foe include using your supercharged hacker blood beam or shooting at close range with the "Glass Blasta" as the enemy will try to melee instead.
The Psykos with the syringe heads (Psyko Injektaz) may also quickly overwhelm you, but as long as you keep moving and blasting with your crossbow or shotgun, you shall be mostly fine :) side strafing to make distance works well with this foe.
The cacodemon-looking demon things go down very quickly if you use your hacker blood beam or rockets (Yeahh the rockets are pretty good in this game)
The Main Boss
NOTES*
- My game soft-locked when saving the game during the second phase of the boss fight, this could be my issue only but do be aware.
-You can use the minigun to reach high areas if you fire whilst looking down (The game doesn't explain this for some reason)
-The hacker blood beam can also be used to traverse big gaps but seems to be more efficient.
- It is very easy to keep your shotgun stocked up on ammo if you destroy windows as you go along
I hope this guide helped and assists you in becoming the ULTIMATE X SLAYER, persistence and care for your health will get you through this game in no time !
Feel free to correct me or add more advice if needed :)

I stayed in the big bus to finish mine. You can double back to the beginning for the 3 missiles for the Helix Launcher if you need more. I’d get him down to 14 bullets left. Go back and get the health from the car that comes down and fill my launcher.

After completing the game on normal difficulty, if you start a new game there is a chapter select.
You can start a new game, select "inzane" difficulty, and then select only the last level "over the road".
Your achievement will be unlocked anyway, you don't need to play the whole game on that difficulty.
Remember that you can save anytime you want.

You also unlock level select by beating the game on "Not a real gamer" difficulty

How is this not the top Guide? So much easier than replaying the entire game. Just replay the last level.

To unlock this achievement, simply beat the game on the highest difficulty setting, which is the title of this achievement. And the nature of that difficulty setting makes this achievement well worth saving for last, as far as the difficulty for unlocking the other achievements in the game go by comparison.
From a preparation standpoint, you should first beat the game on an easier difficulty setting to unlock the three special levels you can access from the room on the left that has the three computer monitors on your next playthrough (which you should start on INZANE) and get access to weapons and ammo you normally wouldn't get until later regular levels. The first secret level (GPHRHOUS.KMP shown on first monitor - tied to the Uncle Gopher's House achievement) in particular you can collect all the weapons in the game except for the Hackblood Talismen (which can be gained at the end of the second secret level [MIKEYSHEAD.KMP shown on second monitor - Mikey's Head]). You can also replay these levels again and again until you feel you have enough adequate supply for ammo to begin your main campaign. I would recommend playing through the first secret level repeatedly to build up the supply for your rocket weapon, which will come in handy for the boss fights with the toilet and the wolf-formed rocket-launcher wielding Stefanie. Remember too that you can also SAVE your game at any point in all the main levels before major enemy cluster encounters and bosses so as to keep as high a health bar as possible, which is an absolute must due to FAR fewer healing items available compared to easier difficulty settings. Pace, patience, and finesse are all keys to succeed here in terms of avoiding recklessly endangering yourself and allowing enemies to overwhelm you from a numbers standpoint. The achievement should pop on screen once you defeat Mevin on the final stage, and he was the only real difference I could notice playing on Inzane difficulty from a standpoint of being able to take more damage. Even then I only needed 3 or 4 tries to take him down, mainly with rockets + hackblood beam. 😎

Beat the game on the highest difficulty, INZANE.
Shouldn't be much trouble if you are experienced with first-person shooters. Just a few sessions and the final boss might bring a difficulty spike.
A few tips:
- As of June/23, saving and reloading is buggy in a few areas, specially areas that open up after killing enemies, e.g. the arena at the end of Map 4. I saved after the first wave of enemies but before pushing the button. When I reloaded, the room with the button was closed. I had to reload the autosave and do this entire fight in one go. I also found other players reporting similar issues saving and reloading during the final boss fight;
- Look out for secret areas, specially in the first couple of maps. You can collect all weapons faster this way. Finding secrets on Map 5, the computer one, is also very useful;
- At the end of Map 7, after using the third key to open the big door, I found it was easier to just rush through all the enemies in the final section instead of trying to fight them. I also used the same strategy at the end of Map 8;
- For the second stage of the final boss, I found it was easier to just go back to the first truck and fight the boss from there. There's a lot of rocket ammo and the containers can give you cover from all his attacks. Just stay at the opposite side while he attacks. If you are careful, you can stay in cover and also recharge your green energy after his green ring attacks, effectively giving you infinite ammo. Also, remember to keep shooting at the boss' face, not his spring body. Should be much easier this way, it just takes a while as the boss has a lot of health on INZANE difficulty.
