VAMPIRE HUNTER - Defeat 200 Jiang Shi.
Jiang Shi are the floating hopping enemies. Car kills do not counter, you must defeat them in melee. After completing the main story and secondary missions, drive around and stop whenever you see a red marker near the road. NOT UNLOCKING?
1. Delete game save data from both console and cloud
2. Turn console to offline mode in settings
3. Play through missions until getting the first purple demon event and first blue demon event (this way you can kill JUST the Yaogui at the purple and then just run away from the mission and it will respawn making getting those kills a lot easier and go around the map looking for singular enemy icons on the mini map for the sword kills)
Extra: 1 sword can be enough to kill 2 yaogui, if you find a sword kill the demon it spawns then go to a purple icon drop the sword, kill the vampires, get full face, beat on the Yaogui for a combo or two, pick up sword and it should have enough durability to kill it making your sword kill counter rise faster)
4. Go to the blue event and farm the 200 vampire kills and the 100 bite dodges (with the bites you can just keep pressing Y when the enemies turn red, they will grab you THEN turn red for a bite, do this up to 70 as by the time you get to 200 kills you should’ve dodged the other 30 bites)
5. Go around the map and find the money altars BUT NOT THE ONE JUST OUTSIDE THE APARTMENT
6. With everything gold apart from the money altars save the game on both available file slots
7. Outside the apartment pick up the last altar
8. Go to the Home Screen
9. Turn Xbox to online mode BUT DO NOT RE-ENTER TGE GAME
10. Achievement should finally unlock under two minutes of waiting, if not, turn your console back to offline mode and load one of the two save files you made BEFORE picking up the last altar
11. Repeat steps 7 onwards and the achievement should eventually unlock
I’ve tested this method with all the achievements that are buggy in SD (bite out of crime, super cop) and it worked each time.

Another point to add, on the last fight, you fight 2 Yaoguai and their are two swords that spawn if you take out the portals. Once you defeat Smiley, you can free roam.

This is the absolute FASTEST way to get DEMONIC EXORCISM and DEMON HUNTER done in less then 15 minutes, I take NO credit for this, the credit belongs to pukem0nn, who posted this idea in the comments of another Cursed Gold solution..............
From your apartment, go left, and and then go right until you reach the back entrance stairs to the Night Market, you will see a Peachwood Sword up the stairs.......
Grab the sword, and as soon as the Yaoguai pops up, SAVE YOUR GAME!!!
After you kill the Yaoguai, wait a second for it to register your kill then.......
Press
to reload the game you just saved
You'll end up back in your apartment, then its just a matter of the old "rinse and repeat" routine...........

There is an easier way to find the Yaoguai. In the mission where you are in the Bam Bam club, you will fight some vampires at first. After they are dealt with, a peach sword drops. Take it to the toilet, drop it. Fight the guys in the toilet, take the sword with you after you beat them. You go upstairs, where those jumping vampires and a Yaoguai appear. A short movie will play. Kill the demon, restart checkpoint. If done right, you have A. the sword in your possession, B. can kill the demon over and over until you get both stats filled in until you get those gold. It will save you the searching and bitching for demons in the long run.

Awesome tip! It was annoying watching that short cutscene a dozen or so times, but MUCH faster than driving all over the map trying to find those bastards one at a time.

Some decent tips up here already I just wanted to add, for those who can remember where its located. The Martial Arts club** has a group of 6-7 Jiang Shi that spawn there can be quickly killed drive around the block go back in rinse and repeat.
For those with a couple Yaoguai kills left that don't want to reload missions i found driving up and down the most western road (where the temple is located) there are at least 4 sword spawns that helped me to quickly finish achieving gold status.

to farm Jiang Shi and yaoguai kills just drive around the outside of the night market and you will get a group of jiang shi about 5 or 6 on the step then drive in a square around and you get a peachwood sword with a yaoguai and repeat this is how i farmed out the last kills i needed

For me the best place to farm that's stats is last mission. When you enter to the Temple go upstairs. At the start is one vampire portal you can grind vampires there. For youngai kill second monk, and they will spawn. The swords will be near as the reward of destroyed vampire portals. When you kill youngai restart checkpoint and do this until you dont get the gold medal.

A simple, relatively quick and easy way to grind the "VAMPIRE HUNTER" challenge:
In the mission "SMILEY CATS ARMY"
Toward the later middle of the mission there will be a part where Jiang Shi will spawn non stop until you throw enough of them back in the portal in which they came. In this area there is a barrel with fire coming out of it. Stand next to this barrel and grab the enemies and use the environmental kill to set them on fire. They will run away and die slowly but just keep grabbing and slamming them on the barrel and you should get the challenge done in roughly 20 mins!

This guide is focused on grinding Yaoguai kills. If you have no finished the story yet, the 7th and final mission has you fighting a couple of these and gives you swords. Kill them, reload the checkpoint and repeat. Unlike the main game, missions in this DLC can't be replayed so you will have to rely on this second method to get the remaining kills.
