How to unlock the Ultimate Fighter achievement in Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide
The Triad score is much harder to earn than the Cop score. Things that help boost your score are: wearing the correct outfit (up to 15% triad score bonus with the Mountain Master Triad Set), heavy attacks during melee (if you have bone breaker skills, break a bone twice if possible), explosive kills (use grenades and shoot explosive items as much as possible), demolishing cars (shoot cars until they explode or blow them up with grenades), headshots (always aim for the head because it nets you 30 points instead of 10 for just a kill), action disarms, environmental attacks (do a heavy attack first to maximize points), and melee weapon attacks (try not to kill with the weapon, incorporate a weapon attack after a heavy attack and if possible, end with an environment kill). You will most likely have to replay missions after getting upgrades to maximize your score. Also of note, you gain triad experience from the Zodiac Island optional quest.

on a productive note, thanks for the guide. It helps a lot and if you follow the principle as you go, you can get all the triad upgrades without having to replay any missions.

After completing all main missions, your Triad Score will most likely be around 9 1/2. The only way to boost this the extra bit is to replay the main story missions (these can be accessed in the Social Hub in the main menu). To maximize your score you will want to wear any outfit that gives the 15% Triad Score bonus. Here are some more tips to increase your triad score in missions.
- In melee, grab an enemy with , hit to break their leg. Then go up and spam to kill. This gives you good XP and is a rather quick way to kill enemies. Larger guys you'll just have to attack and counter as normal.
- When shooting, always aim for a headshot. It helps to hurdle over an obstacle to slow down time. A mission where you can exploit this very well is "Intensive Care".
- If an enemy with a gun is behind cover, hurdle over that obstacle to disarm them for good XP.
- If you're ever in a scenario when you are shooting at chasing vehicles, don't shoot the tires. Focus on blowing it up.
- Focus on getting all your mission scores to around 2 1/2 triangles full.
Don't try to grind one mission. The only way to increase your overall Triad Score is by increasing your best score on individial missions. So start with improving ones with 1 to 1 1/2 triangles filled and work your way through.

There are only 10 Traid Upgrades. So you have to reach rank 10 to unlock all Upgrades. You unlock Traid Upgrades by completing Traid related missions. These missions are slightly different than the Cop missions. In Traid missions you start with no points, blank triangles.. The way you level up is highly dependant on how creative you get with your kills. Also there are certain clothing and items that help boost your Traid XP, allowing you to rank up faster.
If you do not reach level 10, you can replay any Traid mission. You may replay mission by pressing > Social Hub > Missions.

It is best to find clothes + 15% to triads in the Center and complete the mission. So stable is enough.

The three North Point missions marked with an exclamation point in a yellow circle (Death by a Thousand Cuts, Triadic Highway, and Shaolin Mayhem) also provide triad points. Zodiac tournament too.

If after completing the game you were unable to score the required number of points, then you can replay the story missions where you earned few triad points!

Unlocked in the penultimate mission. I advise you to wear clothes “+5/10/15% of triad experience” for the main missions, where they give triad experience, otherwise you will have to replay missions where you earned little experience, some side missions also give this same experience, a diabolical tournament for example .
