Sleeping Dogs

There are 19 races, where one is story related in the mission 'Fast Girls'. All the other races are located across Hong Kong, unlocked while going through the story or by buying the class-related vehicles.

The best vehicles in the game are the following:
- Bike Class B: GX300 (Face level 2 required, (North Point Chop Shop; $38,000)
- Bike Class A: 1100 NA-R (Face level 4 required, Kennedy Town Docks; $150,000)
- Car Class C: Enterprise (Face level 2 required, Central Impound Yard; $330,000)
- Car Class B: Terre GT (Face level 4 required, Top Glamour Imports; $280,100)
- Car Class A: Velocita (Face level 6 required, Kennedy Town Docks; $649,900)

Although speed is needed in the races, accuracy to take the turns are an advantage since the AI are mostly ramming each other (or you) of the road. The vehicles I used are:

- Bike Class B: GX300 (North Point Chop Shop; $38,000)
- Bike Class A: 1100 NA-R (Kennedy Town Docks; $150,000)
- Car Class C: 600 Coupe S (received while doing cop-missions)
- Car Class B: Drifter GT (Central Impound Yard; $210,000)
- Car Class A: Blast (Kennedy Town Docks; $420,000)

Other useful things to know:
- The car-races were pretty easy for me, I only needed one or two tries to achieve a first place finish, but the bike-races can be a bit harder. If you drive into a car or obstacle along the road, you will get knocked of your bike which will disqualify you. Be careful so you don't hit anything and you'll be fine.
- Instead of using LT-button to brake in Class A-vehicles, release the RT-button a moment to slow down. If you brake, there's a chance you might slip and loose some precious seconds. If you want to win, then this is something you have to keep in mind at all times.
- If you are close to the finish and not in first place, don't give up just yet. The AI still might crash into a wall or another vehicle which can give you a victory. Even if you place second, you will know how the racetrack looks like which is again very useful.
- Try to avoid collisions with civilian cars, boardwalks or random things along the road. Seriously, you don't want to know how many times my car stopped driving because my frontwheel bumped against the boardwalk.
- Before buying these cars, try to get to Face-level 10 to get a 40% discount on the cars. Doing so, will also give you this:


Winning the 18 races on your minimap awards you with a Gold Medal, needed to get this:

Edit: The user KaRmAChAnG reported that this achievement can glitch even though you completed and won all of them. Don't panic and just replay one of the races. The achievement should pop afterwards.
