How to unlock the Once Bitten, Twice... Bitten achievement in Slime Rancher - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement, you need to hold onto a Tarr for 15 seconds.
Firstly a Tarr is the result of a Largo consuming a Plort that's not their own.
You can either wait for a Tarr to form naturally or by making one manually, to do so you need a regular Slime and feed them a Plort that doesn't belong to their kind and then feeding the resulting Largo another Plort that's not any of their two types!
Assuming you haven't upgraded your health and are at full health when you attempt this, holding onto a Tarr for 15 seconds will leave you with 20 HP, So make sure to throw away the Tarr once you hit the 15 seconds mark or reaching 20 HP as getting hit once more will knock you out.

Just want to add that each Tarr bite takes 20HP, so after the 4th bite this unlocks.

while holding the tarr makes the time not count... leave the triggers alone while holding it. Took me about 4 tries to figure this out.

This achievement can be completed quickly out in the Far Far Range. A Tarr is created when a Largo eats a plort that is a different type than the two halves of the Largo (i.e. a pink and rock Largo eating a honey plort). Before you pick up the Tarr, make sure all other hazards in the vicinity are dealt with. Any extra damage taken can ruin the attempt.
You don't need any of the health upgrades for this achievement. Simply pick up the Tarr (Hold
) at 100 health, then shoot it out (Press 
) a little after it's gotten you down to 20 health. After that the achievement is yours!

Holding onto the Tarr for this long will most likely knock your character out. I found this easiest to do by creating a Tarr by simply shooting a different plort at a largo, and then just sucking it onto the end of the gun. Ensure you don't have anything in your inventory, and if you do happen to collect things you need, return them to your ranch before attempting this, just to be on the safe side.
