Slime Rancher

You will need:
10,000 Newbucks
10 Pink Plorts
6 Rock Plorts
3 Rad Plorts

Once you purchase the Lab (10,000 Newbucks) you will start a new batch of tutorial messages teaching you about crafting. You will be given the Novice Drill blueprint for free. In order to craft the gadget you will need to add the plorts (listed above) to the Refinery and interact with the Fabricator (on the right side of the Lab building). Craft the drill and achievement unlocked.

- You will likely already have found Rad Slimes by the time you earn enough money for the lab, but if not they can be located in the Indigo Quarry. The jet pack is needed to reach them.

In order to get this achievement you'll need to buy the laboratory (At the back of the Ranch to the left of the Ranch house) for 10,000 newbucks. After this you'll want to make a novice drill, as it's the easiest item to create. It requires:

Pink Plorts X 10 (Can be found anywhere)
Rock Plorts X 6 (Found anywhere except Moss Blanket)
Rad Plorts X 3 (Only found in Indigo Quarry)

Once you've made one the achievement will pop! This will also unlock the ability to buy the green treasure pod cracker.
