Step 1) Pick Apollo
Step 2) Unlock achievement, because his passive makes this EXTREMELY easy. His passive boosts his attack speed by 100%, so after buying an item or two that gives you attack speed, his passive should push you to the 2.5 mark.

Thanks for this guide...it worked out for me i was at level 10 when i got it (with Apollo)

Picked Apollo, ran a Arena, used auto item select (without customizing it). Got it on the first try.

I do have a solution that's similar to PRS Sarg up there. However instead of picking Apollo (assuming you're just starting out in the game with only the starter characters) you can buy Artemis for a relatively low favor price, she was one of the first I bought. Now buy the passive boosts in game where attack speed is listed as a boost. Now I had a good chunk of them and she has her Vengeful Assault attack (
) which speeds up her attacks. Now if done correctly and you have at least 2.1x attack speed and use that attack you'll unlock the achievement once you attack.

You can earn this easily if you play as Apollo or Artemis and build the 'Asi' and 'The Executioner' items. Apollo's passive ability allows you to reach the 2.5 automatically through basic attacks. Artemis' 'Vengeful Assault' ability raises your basic attack speed 75% (once maxed out) and should allow you to earn the achievement.
