AMC's ultimate is Stinger, which fires in a straight line. When it connects with a god, the stinger will drop after the god dies or three seconds, whichever comes first. The stinger remains on the map for four seconds - picking it up drops your cooldown time to ~17 seconds instead of 90, so it's in your best interests to aim for this regardless.

The best time to go for this is when an opponent is overextending, either trying to push an attack without their allies, or attempting to chase someone back to a tower or fountain. This way, even if you don't kill them, the stinger remains close. You don't want to go chasing the stinger in the middle of a fight.

Finally, movement speed will help a lot, especially if you have to chase it down. Be ready to throw down a Hive, his first ability, as you get a minimum 10% movement speed boost when near one, increasing 5% with each level in the ability. If that's not enough, the default build also has the Sprint relic.

When you ult someone, after 3-4 seconds a stingers will fell on the ground. If you manage to pick it up, it reduces the cooldown (by a lot) on you're ultimate. Just pick it up 5 times and you got this !
