How to unlock the Rise of the Spawn achievement in SMITE - Definitive Guide
As Set, control six different clones at one time
This achievement is a bit buggy. There have been a fair number of reports of people summoning enough clones but still not popping the award or achievement.
This achievement is hard as it requires a little luck and a some skill. You need to be in control of six clones at once. You can summon clones in two ways. Your second ability, Spawn of Set, can be used to spawn clones, and holds a charge of two (so you can use it twice, similar to Pele's first ability). At maximum rank, they will stay on the map for 12 seconds, and cannot be destroyed by enemy gods.
The second way of summoning clones is via your ultimate, Kingslayer. Once activated, it lasts for 12 seconds. Each time you damage an enemy god, they gain a Mark of Set. At 4 Marks, the target erupts and takes damage. Once this happens, you immediately gain a charge of Spawn of Set. Hit them another 4 times for more charges. If you haven't used your second ability, and have two charges on it, excess charges from your ultimate will immediately consumed, causing a clone to appear automatically.
So the best plan for this achievement is to max out your 2, Spawn of Set. Approach an enemy god and activate your ult. Hit the same god four times to summon your first clone. Every four hits will summon another clone. You'll want to aim to summon 4 clones from this attack. Then use both charges of Spawn of Set to summon two more clones. If done in time, you should have six different clones under your control at once, popping the achievement.
You may want to build items that increase your cooldown reduction, as well as increasing your attack speed to get those hits in quicker on the ultimate (although your passive increases your attack speed with each tick, so this may become unnecessary once you have some items online).
