SEASON 3 UPDATE: There are a bunch of new items and options added with the season 3 patch but my solution remains largely unchanged. Buying Talaria Boots, Golden Bow, and the Sprint Relic will get you the achievement when using Sprint at level 20 out of combat. You can get it at lower levels by purchasing additional movement speed items including: Hastened Fatalis, Heartseeker, Masamune, Stone Cutting Sword, or Winged Blade.

This one is pretty easy with the right build. There's just a few things you should focus on:

1. Active item (Called Relic in Season 3) - Greater Sprint (Just Sprint in S3): Increases movement speed by 40%, by far the biggest increase of any item. I don't think you can actually get to 600 without it (except maybe with the movement speed buff in conquest)

2. Talaria Boots: Gives you the 18% movement speed bonus all boots do but also an additional 14% out of combat.

3. Points in Merc's second ability - Maximum Velocity: Getting 5 points in this ability gives you an additional 10% movement speed without even having to buy anything

4. Any other movement speed item: Golden Bow is great on Merc so you're probably buying it early anyway and it gives another 5% movement speed. Alternatively, Hastened Fatalis gives 10%, as do a few others. This item may not be necessary depending on how many points you've put in Maximum Velocity.

Once you have these things, just use Greater Sprint when you're not in combat (e.g. when you're at the store) and you should unlock the achievement.

EDIT: This cannot be done in match of the day game modes, co-op vs AI, practice, or custom games. Must be done in either versus (non-MOTD) or leagues.

EDIT 2: Golden Bow has been removed from the game in the 3.12 update. It may return in some form but, for now, it isn't an option for this achievement
