How to unlock the That Was Close achievement in SMITE - Definitive Guide

"As Freya, kill an enemy god using Valkyrie's Discretion while you are at 15% health or less"

You're ult will make you fly in the air and allow you (while untargetable) to shoot some magic balls to your enemies dealing splash damage.
Don't forget it has a certain time to be off the grid (so you can die while casting it) and that dot damage still affect you.

So the trick is to focus an enemy and bring him to low health, and when your life bar reach the 10% (so basically red part), you ult to finish him down.

Somebody on the site already told me he hated my solutions. That I did not knew what I was talking about.
I answer backed.

Maybe that is his way of proving I suck at writing solutions ahah

Thanks though Strategy One, and good luck with you're achievement ! :)

Just to add a few tips to anyone trying to do this legit. I did this in arena.

Start off buying Watchers gift to increase your gold and xp.
When you get enough then buy Shoes of the Magi, followed by Demonic Grip and then go big with Rod of Tahuti. At this point your ultimate can kill most mages, hunters, and assassins at full health, assuming they haven't bought much defense items, which they most likely have not. Get in the fight and my experience is to cast your ultimate BEFORE you get to 15% health if you are engaged with an opponent. As the OP pointed out, it takes a second to cast and you are still vulnerable. +1

PS. I did this legit because I had to get Freya to a MR1 but i have no issues with boosting.
