The starting checkpoint is always enabled in every level I think, but I didn't take the risk. Very easy to get around. Only checkpoint you have worry about is the one after you learn how to climb. I moved around on its left, staying as close to the wall as possible.
Then I just climbed over the small wall to get to the gate. After that just get the key and get back to the gate.
Achievement will unlock on the next screen.
