After you complete the later primary objectives of shooting the mines in the road and defeating the tank, your next objective will he to ‘Get through the Mountain Pass’. As you make your way through the narrow passage, Karl will say something to himself in the lines of “Raubvogel will have covered the approach with traps. I should watch out”. Stick to the path to the right (up the hill), you along the way you will see four easily visible S-Mines buried in the ground. Take this area slow because if you run through the area, chances are you are going to trigger the mines and get yourself killed. All you need to do is stand back and shoot them with your pistol so they detonate. Shoot four and the achievement will unlock.

Note: There are more than four mines, so if you miss these first four (you really shouldn’t as they are along the path you must take), there are a couple more along the path on your way to the next objective. It is recommended you create a manual save before you shoot the first one in case you trigger one, killing yourself.
