MISSION 8: RUBBLES AND RUINS
At the very beginning of the mission you will encounter 1 officer and 3 German soldiers in a small area around a fountain. Make your way to the right of the first soldier, and go into the tall grass area on his right. When the German officer says something like ‘Pack those boxes!’, make a save. Kill the officer first, then the soldier to your left that we met at the beginning, the one walking to the left and lastly the one standing in front of you in quick succession. Reload save and repeat.
Great place for tall grass kills, ghost kills, sound mask kills, 150 pistol kills and pistol masteries, just buff your pistol’s damage as much as you can and equip soft point ammo on your way to the fountain.
(Shoot the target’s body or shoot twice if you are using a low power pistol, if there’s a question mark on the soldiers when the officer’s incapacitated they still count as ghost kills as long as you are hiding in the grass)

This may be earned through natural progression. A ‘ghost kill’ is a kill performed when the enemy is completely unaware or suspicious (yellow) but not alerted (red). Killing enemies by any means in this state will result in a ghost kill.
Most of the time you can walk up on unsuspecting enemies and melee kill them. Even if they are facing you, as long as their awareness doesn’t turn red, it should register as a ghost kill. If you find yourself in an area where you need to shoot a weapon, try using your suppressed pistol; if you kill an enemy and another finds them, unless they see you, killing that second enemy will also be a ghost kill. As long as you are not in full-fledged combat, you should be safe.
Refer to the ‘Mop Up’ section in the roadmap for a farming method to make this go a lot quicker.
To check your progress, press
then navigate to Service Record > Medals > General and look under the ‘Combat’ heading to see your medal progress.

Ghost Kills are achieved when killing an enemy while you're not in combat. This will come naturally if you play stealth, just make sure to use silent guns, or kill your enemies with your knife with
