Firstly I would recommend putting on a long range scope as it will help immensely but for this you'll probably get it just from playing the game normally but if you want this quickly then start up Spy Academy and take the Beaumont Marshland starting location on Very Easy and follow the path until you see the academy, make a save here and then snipe all the targets you see then when you have killed all the enemies you see just reload your save and repeat.

For boosting of this achievement, I would recommend mission 9, where you have to kill Moller.
Right at the start of the mission wait until the car with Moller on it gets 900 meters away. At this distance, Moller and the escorting car each with 2 soldiers on it will be moving right away from you.
Save the game before killing them (soldiers first, then Moller), then reload the game. You normally can kill 4-6 each time, which is 3600m in total. It will take around 20-30 minutes to accumulate 100000m.

Play through the game first as this will naturally get you closer. I was about 80% when I started working on it. Load Level 7. Start game, run about 15 paces and stop right before you slide down hill, shoot motorcycles to the left (by the building). Now look just below the objective marker on the screen, there is a spotlight with two Germans (don’t shoot yet)… Save the game, shoot the Germans and then load your last saved game. Repeat until achievement comes up. These two kills are around 450m each (900m total) took about 20 seconds to complete the shot and reload. Good luck.

Good spot, worked well. In addition to the two soldiers listed here, there was a third by a spotlight to the right about 250m away. I tagged all three before saving. I was at 63% after the whole campaign, and this spot took me about 10 minutes to get the achievement.

The best place I have found to boost this is "The spy academy" mission. You need to be patient and tag a bunch of targets in the beginning. You can stand or crouch and start picking off targets one by one, I was standing while doing this on the sniper elite difficulty (the one less than authentic) and nobody even spotted me. To be fair I took out the German snippers and the guys on the beach first. The main issue you will have is running out of bullets due to all the targets. I used the regular, subsonic, and match ammo. If you do headshots on the targets, you can progress on your rifle masteries while you are going for this. Most of the shots are 200 to 400 meters per shot.

The game measures distance in meters and this is cumulative in all game modes. You will likely not have the distance by the time you complete the campaign for the first time.
If you’ve completed the campaign and still need distance kills, a good strategy is to find and mark a target(s) hundreds of meters away (the farther the better) then save your game. With your scoped rifle, perform the kill(s) then keep reloading as long as desired. The standard scope magnification is 8x (the Gewehr is 6x), so anything over 450-500 meters will be difficult to kill with one shot, but more powerful magnifications can be unlocked by completing missions and interacting with rifle workbenches throughout the campaign. The more powerful the magnification, the farther you can successfully shoot and kill a target with one or two shots.
A good spot to farm this is at the beginning of Mission 3, ‘Spy Academy’. Playing on ‘Civilian’ difficulty (so there's no bullet drop or wind) and using the default starting point, 'Beaumont Marshland', move along the path until you see the fortress, but do not slide down the small hill. There are three snipers overlooking the bridge that are roughly 350-400 meters away each. There are also two closer enemies on the beach at approximately 135-180 meters away (there are more if you search for them but these are the quickest to kill). Mark them with your binoculars then create a save. After they are killed, reload your save. If you kill all five, you will get roughly 1400 meters.
Since the location is at the beginning of the mission, you can also work on headshots for Master of Rifles (15G) as well as use the airplane flying overhead for sound masking for As Quiet as a Mouse (15G).
