Mission 6: Assault on Fort Rouge

We want to be playing on the easiest difficulty, Civilian, to get this achievement done on mission 6. There is a tank on the western part of the map that patrols around the main building where our kill list target is. We want to wait for the tank to head to the back of the building before aggroing it and then trying to take cover behind the truck parked back here. The tank should shoot blowing up the truck and popping this achievement.

Great place to do this. Done it within a few minutes of starting the level and just made a save just before attempting it. There are other trucks nearby too if doesn't unlock on the first one.

Edit: A down vote without critique is pointless. Make a suggestion, ask a question, ask them to elaborate, perhaps they missed something or perhaps you know a far easier method that they didn't know. Just say something!

This guide are straight forward and a easy achievement. It's at the start of the level.

Good guide, thank you very much. It would've been even better if you show the way from the starting point to the location with the tank. It's easy enough to get there but to guide newer players it would've been appreciated to show the whole way.

I tried to get this on Mission 6, and got the tank to blow up a truck but it didn’t pop, I think because it was unmanned. I got this on Mission 8: End of the Line, there’s a tank up the top right of the map. Get that tank to blow up the truck that circles at the bottom half of that area.

There are a few missions with patrolling tanks, but the best one for this particular task is the tank rolling down the streets in Mission 6 'Assault on Fort Rouge'. There are some unmanned enemy vehicles down this stretch, too, so if you stand near to or in front of one, you should be able to coax the tank into firing in your direction, blowing up the vehicle in the process. Getting out of the way is a good idea, if you can manage it. Clear the infantry in the area first to make your life a bit easier and make a manual save if you need to. Also, shoot the pesky gunner manning the tank's mounted gun - if he pops up, you pop him.

This is easily done on Assault on Fort Rouge. There's a tank patrolling in the town near the red assassination target. At the part of its patrol near the checkpoint, there's a truck. If you put a satchel charge on the rear of the tank and engage it, let it see you then hide behind the truck. It'll fire at the truck, destroying it. One trophy for your pleasure.

Everything is quite easy. We go to the 6th mission and bait the tank that meets us at the beginning so that it shoots at the truck and the trophy is yours
