How to unlock the Climbing the Ranks achievement in Sniper Elite: Resistance - Definitive Guide

Easy Grind Location:

Mission 6 Assault on Fort Rouge
We are going to load into mission 6 on the easiest difficulty and begin by taking out the guards and truck closest to us. This is just to clear them out so they don’t aggro on us later. From the start of this mission we can easily grind out XP, Rifle kills, Rifle masteries by focusing on headshots, Distance, and more! Basically from this spot we can see most of the map and as long as our scope zoom is good enough we can hit enemies all the way at the castle on the far back edge of the map. Right here I went ahead and marked all the enemies I could find (After marking the enemies, make a save), around 20 in total, so then we can just start picking them off and on top of that additional enemies may get alerted and come out into the open for some more easy kills. Once we are done here, we can just reload the save and do it all again, or exit and switch out weapons for masteries as everything we do will still count even if we don’t finish the mission.

You can farm several achievements in Solo Survival mode too as there are a lot more enemies.

By the time I'd finished the campaign, I'd hit rank 31 with little effort, so if you play a bit of Survival and some Propaganda challenges, you'll easily bump that up a few levels. Replaying missions will also contribute towards this – you earn XP for bagging kills, completing objectives, picking up collectibles and so on. Just keep playing and you'll eventually reach level 40. You can do this completely offline.
