How to unlock the World Record achievement in Sniper Elite V2 - Definitive Guide

Pretty simple in that you need to get 506 rifle kills across the course of the campaign. This will count kills accumulated on all playthroughs.

Edit: This counts across all gametypes, credit to Jason3765 for pointing this out.

My partner got this whilst playing Overwatch with me so I think it may mean 506 kills in the game in general , no matter what game mode you're playing.

Fun fact: This achievement refers to the World record hold by the Finish sniper Simo Häyhä, gj Simo:)

Just wanted to say, I believe this is for 506 "scoped kills" under stats not rifle kills....checked my stats as soon as it popped and I had 513 rifle kills and 507 scoped kills.

I got this on my second mission. I think the achievement opened early, as did my 50 explosion kills. got it on the tank in the second mission.

When doing the checkpoint exploit as detailed on the "Sniper Elite" achievement it will duplicate your stats for the current level. Example: if you got 20 headshots up to the final checkpoint when loading the final checkpoint on Sniper Elite difficulty it will give you an additional 20 headshots for free. I confirmed that this happens to this achievement as well.

This trophy is simply earned just by killing 506 enemies with your sniper rifle. It will take quite a bit of sniping to get this but you will get most of the kills over the course of your campaign playthrough(s).

There really isn't any particular level that is good to "farm" kills as all levels have you sniping during some point and there are no "infinite spawns" of enemies. So just keep playing the campaign and if you end up beating the campaign you can always get the rest in the Co-op modes.

Fortunately this has nothing to do with the game's leaderboards. The only thing you should do is kill 506 enemies with your sniper during the campaign, it seems like a lot, but if you kill all the enemies you can, you will get it before you even finish the game :)

Simply get 506 kills by Sniper shots only. When you die, the kills you got will carry over, so they should build up quickly on Sniper Elite difficulty. This will certainly unlock by the time you have completed the Single Player and Co-Op
