How to unlock the Flying Knives achievement in Sniper Ghost Warrior - Definitive Guide

There's really nothing special about how to obtain this achievement, other than when you are the sniper, you are equipped with the throwing knives; (only class that has them) I believe the amount is 4, but I could be mistaken?

As the sniper, press cn_up on the D-Pad, and you will switch to the throwing knives, than kill 10 enemies. They have to be 10 different enemies, and you CAN NOT reload the checkpoint, and kill the same enemy over & over!

If you are having trouble killing the enemies, switch to an easier difficulty, and keep trying. Good luck & enjoy the achievement!

EDIT: After you throw the knives, you can go pick them back up, from the dead enemies, and on the ground if you missed.

The Story Chapter easiest at is titled : On your Own!

It's been a while since I've played it, and of course it's been several years since I wrote this solution. I will find a video of it, and add it to this solution. I can give you a hint however, it's during a stealth operation, when you have to sneak up behind some enemies just before sniping off a sequence of enemies in order to progress. However, you can pretty much do this anywhere in the game.

For this trophy you have to get a total of 10 kills with the throwing knives. Equip them by pressing . Throwing knives will normally cause instant death to enemies and can be picked up again from the enemy's corpse. The kills will accumulate even if you die before reaching a checkpoint. There are plenty of opportunities to get kills this way, so this shouldn't be a problem.

You must be the Sniper to have the throwing knives, not the Infantry man. To get the knives out, press . You can zoom in a little with . Each knife throw is a instant kill. You cannot kill someone and reload the checkpoint to kill them again. It has to be 10 different people. If you walk over the body that you just killed with the throwing knife, you can pick it back up. Same goes for if you miss with it, go to the spot where it is on the ground and it will be picked up.
